i was just in the haunted room 314 at the mt washington hotel. it was creepy and i found out the tower is haunted too.

Hey there, just was wondering what the chances were of this conversation been a conversation in real time through air cond ducts (or similar) I have been at a hotel and heard an arguement and thought it was the ppl next door but in fact the couple were 10 rooms down the hall. These enclosed ducts tend to carry the voices well

well its a real chance, i would say 98% that it is a real evp... i mean first of all it clearly answers the the questions, and which is most startling to me, that you can actually pick up her british accent which u almost will never here on an EVP. TAPS always makes sure that the area where each team is investigating is totally absent of other team members or people, so if there were other people in other rooms talking through vents, they would have caught that.

I tend to believe this is not quite a ghost story, but one of the timeslips experiences. She is very lucid and seems to be surprised that someone else is there and asking her these questions...

man if a ghost living in it's time period but dead can hear you but can't see you is like us hearing ghost but not seeing them. That one is kind of weird especially if there talking back.

When ever I go up to NH to visit my Cousin and other relatives, we always stay at the mt. washington.

It's really creepy but cool :P.

I am a chef at the Mount Washington Hotel...

Just yesterday I was preparing for dinner and thought another chef was to my right, when I looked up to speak with him, there was no one there...

Strange noises and strange things happen all the time...

All the chef's there have experienced at least something...

i agree with you redhead..i think if they went back they could probably record an entire conversation with this woman. she seems to be a bit lost. this evp is unlike any evp i have ever heard. to hear her asking herself if she's "gone mad" because she's hearing voices asking her questions..its like she's just a normal person living in her time. i'd want them to ask her what year she thinks it is.
