I think we should all look hard and see what our actions is affecting others even when you think they are not. Such as not saying "hi" to your parents in the morning, or calling people names that they feel bothered by. Bullying sucks. And it is scary to go back to school and deal with it over and over. May I ask why not one person or organization doing all the anti-bullying talk has bothered to call toll-free directory? Had any of them done so they would have found that Thursday's Child has a hotline for kids to call who are being bullied. The main number is 1 800 USA KIDS and it's proactive, meaning the hotline will make phone calls to schools or help guide parents through getting restraining orders against the bullies.
i became friends with a kid that got bullied he is a good friend dont judge on how you think people may act or look go up to them and make a friend because most the time what you hear isnt true about someone i hope i can make a difference

Reaching out to kids who sit alone at lunch is a nice fantasy answer. Bully's were created by abusive parents. May I ask why not one person or organization doing all the anti-bullying talk has bothered to call toll-free directory? Had any of them done so they would have found that Thursday's Child has a hotline for kids to call who are being bullied. The main number is 1 800 USA KIDS and it's proactive, meaning the hotline will make phone calls to schools or help guide parents through getting restraining orders against the bullies.

Reaching out to kids who sit alone at lunch is a nice fantasy answer. Bully's were created by abusive parents. And the beautiful part is, they will grow up and abuse their children. and women who were abused will seek out relationships with abusers, and then crank out more kids. But it's fine that you think differently of it, to me personally, it DOES speak to me. Whether he means it or not doesn't matter, as long as he had the guts to speak up period is what really matters to me. I'm glad lots of celebs have said this, it's a good thing. i can relate in this suggestion because i too have been in that shadow of bullying but i was called names thru out my years...but the best way for me is that i ignore those peers even when i try to be friendly they still treat me differently from the rest i try to surround myself with good friends that would be good for me.

OMG! I actually understand what he is saying. Well, I've always understood bullying. But right now at my school something's are happening between one of my Best friends and my ex-best friend. Not saying what happened but it was awful. It's great to know that there are people who care e.g. The jonas brothers!
