  • Best Final Fantasy game.

  • epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A truly epic tune.

  • One of the best FF Boss music theme throught out series !!!

  • Stand Guard!

  • I CAN DECIDE WHAT IS BETTER !!! FINAL FANTASY V OR VI!!!

  • this boss theme probably starts off the best out of any ff boss music but the theme seems too short :(.

  • Very neglected boss theme among IV and VI.

  • FF2 Sucked ASS!!!

  • @Domix7799 stfu

ff2 was one of the best

  • @Domix7799 Um...have you even played 2? Tactics, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, and 11 are probably the only FFs that suck ass.

  • @StainIessChina Lol what?

I agree for the most part, but give Tactics its due, it was a good spin-off series, at least in my eyes. You also forgot 13 - while it had a good story, the mechanics sucked big time.

I also didn't like Crystal Chronicles (the newer ones, not the old ones.), they were just too samey.

FF2 was a great game, although Firion didn't have much of a relatable personality.

My favourite's probably FF4 though from the main series, and Tactics Advance from the spin-offs. :D

  • @Moonreii Tactics isn't due anything that game is garbage it's only redeeming quality is supposedly the story, but it got lost in translation. Contrary to what most people think, I have only good things to say about 13 it's a fantastic game in the main series it's my 2nd least favorite next to 1, but I still think they're both great. Firion wasn't really meant to be related to he was like a Luke Skywalker type character. My favorite main game is 7 or 9 and my favorite spin-off is 10-2.

  • @StainIessChina Eh, I suppose it's dependant on personal preference. I enjoyed the game mechanics and story alike. Again, personal preference, I gave 13 a shot, I even pre-ordered the damn thing, which is why it was all the more crushing when I didn't enjoy it. I can see what you're saying with that, haha.

  • @Moonreii Did you like 10? If so I don't see how you can not like 13 because they both flow really similarly.

  • @StainIessChina how the hell can crisis core and dirge of cerberus suck they are up there with all FF's

  • @rickmando81 No they aren't, those games are so terrible, I despise FF Tactics, but even that is better than both of the 7 spin-offs those games are the perfect example of what a FF game shouldn't be, in fact all the people hating on FF13 should go play both of these games and then be thankful that it doesn't suck as hard as they do.

  • @StainIessChina I do like 10, but I can't particularly agree with that. 10 still keeps a semi-turned base battle system, which can be affected by like Quick Hit and Haste etc.

I simply just couldn't engross myself in the game, I didn't like how you had to upgrade your weps with random materials and stuff as well, similar to what 12 incorporated. DoC and CC are really bad - that's for sure. It's like the 'Shadow the Hedgehog' of the Sonic series.

  • @Moonreii To say 13 isn't turn-based is to also say 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12 aren't turn based either, because those all use the ATB system as well, but what I meant is that the pace of the story in 13 and the overall feel of the maps was really similar to 10, they were both really linear until the post-game. I liked the upgrade system once I learned how to manipulate it to get a full upgrade with minimal resources, but I did miss hunting down ultimate weapons like on the older games.

  • @Moonreii I totally agree with the Shadow thing though,Shadow the Hedgehog, CC and DoC are all games that had the potential to be great, but got turned into convoluted messes, I don't see why they didn't do the same thing with the 7 spin-offs that they did with FF4 The After Years, that game's battle system was almost exactly the same as 4 with just a few minor tweaks that only improved it in my opinion.

  • @StainIessChina

You despise FFT? Including the original one (and its remake)?

Well, that's certainly out of the norm. Why do you?

  • @KairisVardron Because it's a horrible game, you just do nothing but battle, half the fun of FF is exploration and adventure. Plus the supposedly amazing story was largely lost in translation on the English version, so it has no redeeming qualities at all. I pretty much hate strategy games as a whole, not because I don't appreciate the intelligence it takes to play them, but because there's nothing to do other than fight, it's boring not being able to move freely and explore.

  • @StainIessChina This is true, but strategy games are fun because of the strategy. Aesthetics have nothing to do with them.

  • @justa16thnote I did not say anything about aesthetics (that means graphics), but RPGs are more fun because they incorporate strategy, and adventure.

  • In my opinion FF6 & FF5 are both really good.....TIE!!!!!

  • This theme's lyrics are,"HOOOOLLLYY SHIT! ... YOURE FUCKED!"

  • I love this game and it nele.obrigado me back by the memory.

  • This was my favorite ff game. Though vi was the best

  • I reckon I'm alone in this, but this was my favourite final fantasy game.

  • this is almost as good as final fantasy VI(6)

  • @blackabe11 Actually, I liked this one better than FF6. And FF4 too, for that matter. It's up there with FF9 and FF3 as one of my favorite FF games.

  • this almost as good as final fantasy VI(6)

  • I mean to say, if Legend of Zelda had this music...

    Wow.... Just... wow..... O.o

  • Epic music is EPIIIIIIIC!!!! >:D

  • this song plays when ur girlfriend is mad about u

  • when i encountered shinryu in remade ff1, this song was playing at the background, and i swear i felt the adrenaline in my veins!

  • FF9のboss戦に似てるね

  • There's so many bosses in FF5 it's a little ridiculous, good thing I like this theme!!

  • @Gilmoreboy2007 be happy , the only 2 facts i play FF games are , 1. bosses ( making strategies , ect ) 2. the story

  • @Gilmoreboy2007 I'd like to know which game has more bosses...

Final Fantasy V or Secret of Mana...

  • @JasonBurrows1989 That is a very good question. I'm sorry to say I don't know the answer to that, I've only been through Secret Of Mana once. I do remember that game does have alot of bosses though. I have a hunch that FFV has more bosses, that's just a guess. Sorry sir.

  • @JasonBurrows1989 Secret of Mana I believe.

  • @JasonBurrows1989

    google.

  • It was Melusine according to Oathkeeper.

Yeah, I faintly remember that boss...

  • This theme was pretty epic to me. I first heard this theme thinking it sounded nothing like any of the boss themes from any other Final Fantasy title. It had an air of heroism combined with a haunting melody.

After some years of not hearing this theme, I did forget most of it, but the part 1:00 to 1:10 always stood out. Slowly I could remember the rest of the theme. Still one of my favorite themes.

  • @HeroBragma

    Are you talking about Siren?

  • @DBoyNasty Actually that's Mesuline

  • @Oathkeeper52k

    I faintly remember that boss.

  • this song means to me: Now, the big shit comes

  • Too bad this didn't get in Dissidia 012

  • @HarikenKaze yeah u.u

  • @beavoru2 I have a bad feeling that this will be DLC, which means I have to spend money in order to get it, sigh. Oh well, this theme (and some others) will be worth it!

  • @pikachu427 Yep :D

  • Comment removed

  • @HarikenKaze it is going to be in it as dlc, go on final fantasy wiki

  • @julianannon I know that, this comment was made before that was announced

  • @HarikenKaze if saying that made them release it now, then thank ya sir

  • @HarikenKaze ACTUALLY IT DID its available as a DLC ;p

  • @BayonettaJeanne Good job being ignorant, the DLC was released far after I said that

  • @HarikenKaze Well sheesh. No need to be rude. The DLC has been out for a while so I just assumed at the time you didn't know about it :L

  • Just think, Odin was badass enough to speed the song up himself.

  • and children think that call of duty is the best video game ever *scoffs*

  • This song is underrated. *Favorites*

  • @axel5735 Isn´t it the same in the intro?

  • @EmzingsMrHotshot Derp, woops. I was talking about the final boss theme... Don't know how the comment got to here but thanks for bringing that to my attention.

  • if u like this one then listen to a rock remix

  • neo ex-death dislikes this song

  • This song should be used in an MMORPG...

  • Best boss theme, as far as I'm concerned.

  • this was by far my favorite final fantasy, beaten it like 8 times but i just got it on gba so im playin it again ^_^

  • I find it strangely ironic that the title is in large font, english, but the game was never translated nor released in the US. Maybe UK, but idk.

  • I like this boss theme. It is pretty climactic.

  • @ExilLarkdanx idiots don't realize FF3 in US was actually FF6.

  • my most unliked fonal fantasy game (excluding 10 to 13) has the bast boss theme... put it in FF9!!!

  • @yurishosan first you call this the worst ff game then you want to put it in ff9....i hate you....

  • @brainjuice654 what do you want? i haven't played 1-3 and 11-12 for long enough to count them ff4 is better, ff6-9...so it's my most unlicked ff game.. not that i haven't spent hours on it - I just spent more on the rest. and I LOVE ff9 - so i want this song in 9...

  • @yurishosan i'm not gonna fanboy rage you but i will tell you 1 thing, final fantasy 9 wouldn't exist without final fantasy 5, as for final fantasy 4, the game is ok, but is let down by it's overly serious and cliche story, final fantasy 5 is the only ff game so far to get both the job system and the story right not to mention, the game isn't meant to be serious. if you appreciate it for what it is, you will like it . not saying it's the best game, just saying it's a great game.

  • @ExilLarkdanx WHAT........WHAT.....why would terra be in ff3. ff3 takes place in 1-4's world. and 6 is its own little universe.

  • @jsh020 I think I got it... Well in USA FFVI is called FFIII so... well maybe the confusion comes from it

  • @Fujikaya yah i know but still even after that contraversity was cleared up 17 years ago that some peaple still dont know about it means its underated

  • playing this game was so fun

  • I used to play this game and get to barely past the first boss (i never really played it a lot, because i didn't really like it!) but now, i am near the end of the game! this game has really gotten better since last i played it.

  • I never liked this song before but now it's starting to grow on me.

  • Like a sexy tumour.

  • @jamalif I love this song, I never completed FFV or even got half way through but every so often this song popped up in my head and stuck in there even years later.

  • omg O.O

    japan only...

    *thinking*

  • Uh... It was fan translated in like 1997... people can get really into their games, and well, they started the whole thing about Square releasing EVERY FF game in the US after 6, not to mention that every other Japanese FF game has been skillfully translated by now... just FYI

  • @Anonie324 it was officially released in English on the Final Fantasy Anthology.

  • @Anonie324 still i hate how underapreciated 2, 3, and 5 are since they never released them in america till 1998. some peaple dont know they exist. i was on final fantasy 2's cgi opening video and there were 5 peaple saying this wasnt they final fantasy 2 they played on their snes

  • @jsh020 Ouch...

  • @Anonie324 yah. the sad part is final fantasy 2 was the first game i ever played in the serise. well that i liked

  • @jsh020 And what about other games, did you start with VIII? I hope not...

  • @Anonie324 i bought VIII 3rd and its one of my favorite in the serise. had my favorite magic system. VII was the one i tried very first and i did not like any of it(until i retryed it a few years ago) i like spooneyone alot but his final fantasy VIII review was total bull.

half of the complaints about the story was over exagerated by him skipping half of the parts that explain it.

  • Eh, which one did you start with then?

  • @Anonie324 7. didnt like it at all. wasnt till 2006 when i replayed it did i ever like it.

  • @Anonie324 and there is websites that sell repo carts of nes and snes game that Where, A:Not Realeased in the U.S but fan translations exist. B:The games where unreleased at all. C:There Rom Hacks. D:There a homebrew title.
