No, it proves that selection and training by the Indian airforce is not up to scratch. The Harrier is a very difficult plane to fly and only the best pilots with a gift for handling them got into the RAF Harrier squadrons. I am surprised they did not do a deal with training when they bought them.

Scrapped by UK government who biuld aircraft carriers that are sold off at a fraction of cost before they are even finished. Not that we can use them anyway since we have no aircraft for them.

Then our useless expenses fiddling theiving politicians tell us that there is nothing wrong with our armed forces.

Anyone who thinks that just needs to read the MOD review, The UK (aswell as most western nations) need to cut in order to get out of debt. A decision was taken to scrap our old carriers and GR7's to save money as the F-35 won't be ready for at least another few years. If we don't get out of debt asap we go bust...simple as. We can make do without them for a few years.

@TheSpirit If u are going to complain then do it correctly m8. The UK gives out around 10 billion per year in foreign aid making us the worlds largest donator in terms of % of GDP. Allot of this goes to nations such as Pakistan, India, China and Russia, many of whoom have space programs. This is the legacy of the socialist Labour party for ya. All the UK has to do is cut the money we give to our potential enemies so that they can build their weapons but extreme liberalism in Europe prevents this

The Harrier jump jet is being re-designed to make it go faster and to be more efficient at using fuel, so it can go into far off combat zones. I hope it's one hell of a plane when it's completed.

US/UK jets are way superior over Russian crap lol. Russian jets are way behind in micro processor technology and their currently falling out of the sky due to engine failure hence the Migs have been grounded. The only area where Russian jets excel is the airframe although even this has been caught up by the West now as is evident with the EF. Even the T-50 is waitig for promised new engines...
