@XboxKenny1992 Certainly Triple H deserved to be WWE or World Champion on his talent and work rate but he did not deserve to hold the WWE Title 8 times, the World Title 5 times and dominate the company from 1999 to 2006. He was good enough to have the top spot in the company for a year or so but not to have that spot for 7 or more years. If talent and work rate were the only criteria used to pick the top guy in the company then Taka Michinoku and Finlay would have had runs as the top guy.

He had creative control of his character & could change scripts so that he won even if doing so didn't help the company. Case in point is Goldberg who should have stormed to the top, won the World Title in his first attempt in the Elimination Chamber but Triple H couldn't stand the challenge to his top spot &had to beat him first, destroying his momentum.
