  • As many of you know, and have seen pictures of the damage in reactor 4 fuel pool, there is no way in hell, that is pictures of the fuel pool in reactor 4. No how, No way, that is definately not the reactor # 4 fuel pool. How stupid does Tepco think we are.? where is the crane that fell onto the empty pool ? Where is all the debris that was covering the reactor pool ? Not even remotely close.

  • I highly doubt this is a picture of this pool, as overhead photos and video clearly show a dry pool, steaming and with a huge pile of debris and a green crane INSIDE THE POOL. A cement boom truck was pumping water in and not able to fill the pool, due to cracks and leaks. An NRC email to IAEA source stated this pool 'was on fire' meaning nuclear fuel was melted and burning. See enenews dot com for more info.

  • dry reactor fuel heats up 100°C every 0,1 second. the spent fuel pool is a total desaster. fresh reactor fuel is less active than spent. spent is a term creating an illusion. the chernobyl reactor 1,2,3 spent fuel is safe for another 2 years. but look at spent fuel of fukushima. a catastrophe! leaks everywhere and the water level is decreasing, as kyodo reported days ago. tepco doesn't know where the acutal reactor fuel is! it was probably blown out. this is why they show the spent fuel.

  • really informative and interesting

  • Very enjoyable thank you

  • very interesting video thanks

  • it really does glow green! weeeeeeeee!

  • love the video really good

  • So I'm guessing swimming ain't allowed.

  • looked at my video ... there is a real atomic explosion in fukushima ..

  • There are over 90 commercial off site storage pools for radioactive waste, that is not including the storage pools at each nuclear reactor. All it takes is a loss of cooling power for a few days for the stuff to burn and contaminate the whole world with deadly radiation. What the hell were they thinking? Future generations will curse us!

  • Am I missing something here? If this is the unit 4 spent fuel pool, its reactor had no fuel and was dissasembled for maintainance. What exploded and blew the building apart? Why did the new camera's installed in the reactor buildings by an Israeli security firm appear to be identical to an Israeli built nuclear device? Are the Japanese still planning to sell enriched uranium to Iran? I would think not!

  • 0:40 notice the light rain of bubbles rising off the fuel racks.

  • @GoddardsJournal Interesting point, to my untrained naked eye my first guess would be hydrogen. (since there have already been reported hydrogen explosions). I guess and equally logical guess would be oxygen as it's the other constituent of water. A third possibility would be something in the spent fuel converting to gas through residual decay. What ever it is, it's almost certainly radioactive to some degree. I'm sure officials would say it's not harmful.

  • remove all fuel rods undamaged ones 1st. The ones at the bottom will deal with later

  • remove all fuel rods to safe location if possible.

  • Pool 3 is more worrying, fuel rods seem to be have disappeared.

  • Film has been edited. There is only one camera and yet you see cuts from one POV to another. Nonetheless you can see damaged rack sections and rack space numbering. One would have to know what sections (space numbers) are missing and look at at written logs to see if rod assemblies were in those missing racks.

  • Gas bubbles. Missing rods and racks?

  • Who is lying? I need Arnie to help interpret what we are seeing here

  • WHere's Arnie Gunderson? O god, they are lying so badly.
