Hey buddy, your voice is great you should really consider a career in public speaking. You have the looks, the charisma and an amazing voice! You also have helped so many people in terms of accepting themselves! My friend is a diversity teacher, he was shocked how so many students think gays have it easy coming out now. i gave him many coming out vids (including rosewhip137) that werent easy. he showed them to the class. we have come a long way, but have much longer to go. 1 LIFE

My parents never took time to understand me as gay. They only had time to rejected me ans asked me to leave the home. Unfortunately any contacts with them are lost for ever.

I fully agree :) My straight friends changed their opinion about gays since they know I am gay. It is like that people understand the issue when they have a "touchable" proof of the fact we aren't deviants. Everyone of us can contribute to the movement :)

I must say I agree - I have had that same 'taken aback' experience many times. I am like your friend, in my late 30's, and we have come a LONG way in only about 20 years.
