I have tried topicals, changing my diet and exercise, just washing, and nothing will work for me; that's why I'm finally going to try going on accutane. Dan has a point - you should really try at least 3 other options before jumping onto this because you never know how your body will react, but it's definitely a good last resort.

Accutane totally saved my skin. I can't even imagine what my life would be like without that medication. Benzoyl peroxide is just not enough for some people.

I was on accutane its a brilliant well working drug for acne although depends whether it would work for you if you were to have acne, i am happy its help heal my acne! :)

I had almost made up my mind for accutane until i saw this shitty video. I mean, can you be more clear on what "long term effects" you are suffering from? Idk if this drug works, it works..why does the entire world make it sound like this crazy drug that can kill you? I'm super scared and indecisive all over again.

@Edg305 Dan provided information about accutane even before he started producing some of his stuff sold on his website. I've been on accutane on and off for many years. I would agree with Dan that if i had a choice, i would have tried the Regimen before starting a drug with so many long term side effects. Accutane should be a last resort to combat acne. Dont rush into taking accutane, i have permanent chapped lips after i took accutane.

I think people forget that you can have long term side affects from ANY medication. I told my nurse about my worries, and she told me you can get kidney problems from taking pain pills for an amount of time.
