  • dude you really need to either turn up the boost, pull weight out of your primary, or put a helix in your seconday with less angle because your sled is not reving!!!! 10,500 is where it makes peak horsepower.....if you do this the difference will be night and day!!!!!!

  • @buttfuckbilbo This vid is old. It was when I first got that RX-T. I put a clutch kit and different exhaust the next year. Totally different sled. Wish I still had it but it turned into a money pit, so I sold it last fall.

  • @skertmareng It is my buddies 03 600 RMK with a 800 XCR tripple. It is sweet! Especially now, he put timbersled front and rear suspension last fall.

  • i like how that guy picks the heaviest fucking sled polaris makes, becuz the nytro only weighs 542 but the 800 RMK only wieghs 477

    and guess what iq turbo is a fuckin 4 stroke and its a touring sled so i dont think they were to busy worrying about weight shit head, and everyone is gonna like a different sled so there is no point in argueing on which is the best becuz no one will agree

  • The FX Nytros in the same class as polaris's IQ's are lighter, despite them being 4 stroke, this is fully wet. its no good to do a dry weight comparison, IE the Nytro MTX is lighter than all of the Polaris RMK's

  • power can make up for weight, and four-strokes are actually a lot more reliable in my personal experience.

  • Your right, there is no denying it, they are heavy. But I have gone places I only dreamed about with my two stroke. I can see myself getting rid of the ol RX and buying a used Assault or something in a couple years, just cause I've been to the top of everything with the RX and would be nice to pound a light 2 stroker again.

    The 09 Nytro only weighs 542lbs while a 2010 Polaris Iq Turbo weighs 580lbs. Yamaha is getting their shit together and putting their sleds on a big diet.

    My 07 Phazer will do 145kmph and smoke any 500 2 smoke.

    So why don't you go suck mine and tigerprinces balls.

  • Well you dumb fuck if you ever road a 4 stroke, you would know what issue they're talking about, which is the high amount of engine breaking. But your a dumbass so you probably wouldn't notice it. The four strokes have alot of engine breaking which some people like (like myself) and some people dont like it. Yamaha has actually fixed this on the newer 09 models. SO FUCK YOU p.s. their sleds get lighter every year, asshole

  • Yamaha's weigh more. they can make a lot of power, but you can have awesome power without all the wieght that the four strokers bring. and personally I think 4 strokes are for hippies.

  • Apples to apples I'll take the 4 stroke for durability. This sled has 3500 miles of turbo time and still going strong. I would love to have a 2 stroke turbo last that long, heck my Polaris 800 only lasted 2800 miles with no turbo and grenaded the crank and cases. I've riden a turbo M7 and yes it fun but it has been burned down 3 times. Don't put the turbo 4 stroke down until you ride one, you will be hooked. This is the most fun sled I have ever had.

  • agreed, the 4 strokes run really well and dont blow up like the 2 strokes, the 2 strokes are gonna start fading off the market in the next decade, the 4 strokes are only gonna improve ive heard of yamahas 4 strokes being less than 500

    If i ever bought a yamy and got it stuck, id light the sled on fire.

  • i had a rx1 the year they came out, i sold it after the first season because of 2 reasons, one, ITS FOUR STROKE so whenever the fuck i let off the throttle barely in deep powder its like i fuckin slammed on the brakes. and 2. IT FUCKIN ALMOST WEIGHS A HALF A TON. i got a ski-doo and havent looked back

  • Your right on the throttle issue. I just got used to it and haven't looked back. Your also right on the weight, but with the turbo it isn't too big of an issue. I should put some new footage up, got it boosted to 10psi and av gas and lovin every minute.

  • yea, well this is one of the first attempts at a 4 stroke. now they have some new technology for four strokes so they let off the throttle like a 2 stroke so i heard they aint that bad nemore but if there is one thing i miss about the rx1 its the rear exhaust

  • The turbo exhaust dumps straight into the tunnel, I know it sounds like crap, I do not like it, sounds like a geo with an open header. I am fixing that for this winter, I am getting the timbersled seat and exhaust combo. Should work better and sound great.
