  • IN MY GYM, YOU'RE CONSIDER A FAG..

  • good luck getting a bench press higher than 180lbs with that form. btw, most powerlifters i've talked to agree that a wider grip puts less strain on the rotator cuff.

  • Hi, im kelly moore, and i use to be a man

  • @keaney42 lmfao

  • it's refreshing to see a cross-fitter who doesn't have a personal grudge against the "slow lifts" (bench, dead, squat). i've been at cross-fit gyms where these are considered useless "ego" lifts. nevermind that powerlifting is in itself a very rewarding and competitive sport in and of itself just like olympic lifting is. i think crossfit gyms easily fall into the trap that their concept of fitness is supreme, ignoring various aims of fitness ie (endurance sports, power sports, ect.)

  • Crossfit does do a lot of deadlift and squats. Bench is the one out of the three that they don't normally do.

  • @justinkennethmail I don't know which CrossFit boxes you've been to, but I'm a CF trainer and squat and deadlift are 2 of the foundational movements. They are fundamental lifts that are done on a regular basis. Bench is still done, just not often, as pushups usually take their place (both have merits).

  • nice
