  • Whys the poor thing in a cage? They shouldnt be pets ours has an eye missing so she cant go back into the wild, but she has free roam of the house garage neighborhood yard etc... She doesnt go far usually never even leaves garage.

  • @Punkherper Well, it's too late now considering she's more than likely habituated to people and that would be the death of her, but a missing eye would not get in the way too much.

  • Brung a tear to my eye love is a powerful feeling

  • This was a sweet video....I Love it!

  • I can't believe you let that thing touch you

  • Its trying to give you an Indian rug burn.

  • WTF this pissed me off take hem out!

  • Poor thing. I hope he finally got his freedom. :(

  • he's like come ooooonnnnn let me eat your arrmmmm

  • PS. I don't like that you keep him in a cage. I hope you have let him go by now. Their life span is very short as it is.

  • I have raccoon feeders on my property and I feed them Ole Roy hard dog food. Plus they get cornbread and treats such as mellows. I've been feeding them for 7 years. None of have rabies. None are mean. I hand them food and they take it ever so gentle. They don't appear to wonder far from their home hear. They usually have 3 babies each at birth time. Once the babies are old enough, they show them the feeders and soon introduce them to me.

  • This raccoon is obviously not getting the love it craves for.

  • That is NOT love.

  • aww you as$whipe !

let the poor thing loose. I feel like placing a bullet in your stupid face kid.

  • what is the piano melody called i love it cute racoon <33

  • Бедные в клетке, ДАВАЙ ВАС ТУДА!!!

  • lovely

  • Contrary to the sickening dribble, coonies are fabulous, My family and I have lived with and loved raccoons for longer than most of the people commenting here have been alive. They live very well in the company of humans who understand and respect them. The pen this one is in is fine, the coonie looks healthy and is trying to be sqee cute so someone will take him out and cuddle him..

  • @GrackleMomma yeah,i mean, whats the dif. between a raccoon and a cat or dog?its just an animal like anything else.besides,a dog or cat can get the same illnesses if they don't have there shots.

  • they are not pets, they deserve to run free like nature ment them too, how about you live in a cage?

  • The cage looks pretty big.Thats a cute friendly raccoon.

  • racoons are the best animals ever. they are so hated becuase they raid you garbage cans and seem violent. but really, they only are trying to survive in this world.

  • @CatFighterForce9

Actually, raccoons can be quite vicious. Watch Billy the Exterminator. (He saves the raccoons and releases them to the wild, no worries. o.o) and it's so common for them to carry rabies and other diseases. I do agree with you though, I wish they weren't so hated. :c If people learned to leave them alone and properly put away their garbage in a way the 'coons couldn't get at them, there wouldn't be a raccoon problem.

  • you wary of him when he was a baby? and then gave it to the zoo?

  • This is SAD that the raccoon is in a CAGE!

  • How can i get a free raccoon baby ? i'd love to have one!

  • You nee a raccoon sized box, a stick, some rope, some food and a forest.

Go into the the forest with your supplies, support the raccoon sized box up with the stick (open side of the box pointing downwards). Tie the food to the top of the stick using the rope. Make sure the rope is taut enough so that any moving of the food would cause the stick to move and subsequently the box to fall. Then wait.

  • you keep peeps awake ?

  • Snif....

  • i will never walk away from a racoon again...

  • I got to admit though, this is really cute. It kind of looks like the raccoon wants to be friendly.

  • So sad ... Why does this lovely raccoon has to be behind steel mesh ?

  • Because raccoons can be dangerous. Can't underestimate what they're capable of once they reach their maturity.

  • @MDthornton83 :

    Thankyou for your comment.

    However, I disagree with you.

It's not in the nature of raccoon to be agressive.

Sure, they will defend what they consider to be important. This has nothing to do with reaching "maturity" as you call it.

  • Okay. Yeah, I was wrong when I said that. Raccoons are normally shy around people. However a lot of them are curious. I guess raccoons will only attack if they feel threatened or if they have rabies. Still though, these animals have a special place in my heart.

  • @MDthorton83:

You're totally right where you guess is that raccoons will only attack when threatened or cornered in any way, and/or carry disease such as rabies.

The curiosity of raccoons is not in any way like 'Curiosity killed the cat'.

  • @marenonline he was probably rehabing the raccoon and nursing it until it was old enough to be released :] if its released at a really young age its likely it will die.

  • You morons, this raccoon isn't expressing love or giving him a massage - he is looking for the food and wondering why there isn't any in his hand.

  • so cute..i love raccoons.

  • ); Aww Obviously trying to steal his coat... XDD <3 Kawaiii

  • how precious!!!!!

  • what a baby!!!! awesome! I love raccoons. I fed them in the zoo, they are so cute.

  • I think its trying to steal the guys jumper, and just cant figure out why it cant get it.

  • we raised racoons too and that was buetiful!!!

  • A raccoon giving a massage, that's cute. ^w^

  • So cute!!!

    5 Stars!

  • Now this could have been even better with The Captain and Tenille's song "Muskrat Love". ;-)
