  • Donna is the funniest companion the Doctor was destined to be travel with. She is witty and knows how to throw a good crack at someone when she's angry. Plus her name is brilliant. Donna Temple-Noble. Donna=Lady as in Madonna, Temple=Time or Temporary, then Noble is a synonym of Lord.

  • Donna Noble was the best companion. Love her so much.

  • Is it ust a coincidence that Donna Temple-Noble roughly translates to Lady Time Lord or did they actually think of that?

  • @InsertNameHere297 Ohhh I now hope it was intentional. It had to have been, right? Never noticed that before, it's brilliant.

  • @EilonwynChan It's really clever. They did another similar thing with the River Song/Melody Pond word play.

  • @325Leah I like the part when she's asking him all the Doctor related questions. Win.

  • Only a show like Doctor Who can make the phrase: "face Christmas... alone" sound menacing

  • She ain't bovvered tho

  • @325Leah Oh my gosh that comment just made my life.

    Is my face bothered though?

    Are you disrespectin' me?

    Are you disrespectin' my family?

Are you calling my mum fat?

  • @damnthosedaleks I wondered if anyone would recognize it LOL

Are you disrespecting the house of Cooper?

Did you see the one when David Tennant showed up?

  • @325Leah Not yet, I started watching it but I ran out of time, I'll probably go watch it right now, though.

My life held no meaning before I watched the Catherine Tate show.

  • @damnthosedaleks Oh-em-gee I feel the same, but when David appeared on the show my life was complete! It's like I died, went to heaven, then came back to life so I could watch it.

  • @325Leah omg I just watched that !

  • @torchelleyshow hah hah it's pure awesomeness innit tho?

  • @325Leah yess haha it never fails to made me laugh

  • @torchelleyshow Same here. I've watched it six times and I still laugh when he says: "Doctor who?"

  • I loved donna! her story was great and her relationship with the doctor! cathrine Tate! best companion ever!

  • danm she had to talk so much tht she burnt up :( she was funny awesome and part timelord why did she had to go noooooooooo

  • I didn't like Martha. I think it was because Donna and Rose were just better in every way.

  • @13opals no it was just because she was trying to replace Rose and she had a crush on the Doctoe

  • @irishgal152312 Yeah, I guess. She was cool though, really clever. But Donna was awesome cause she wasn't romantically interested in the Doctor.

  • BEST. COMPANION. EVER!

  • She went temping and saying stupid one liners again i see...

  • she's the best!

  • My favourite companion! She's awesome!!

  • Donna was the best companion of all!

too bad she had her memories removed or I had hoped that she could become a Doctor too!

  • *cough* SENSITIVITY XD

    LOVE Donna! -3 :')

Anybody know what the font they used in the video is called? Thanks :)

  • Donna = Ultimate HBIC

  • "Leaving the Doctor to face Christmas alone."

    DUN DUN DUN

  • "Leaving the Doctor to face Christmas alone."

Awww, poor Doctor. He needed a hug and Donna wasn't there to give him one. Way to break my heart!

  • 19 people find "human/timelord biological meta-crisis" a mouthful and pressed the 'dislike' button =)

  • AMAZING!! LOOOVE DONNA!

  • 'Art appreciation!' LOL

  • @SquidgetAndFlobber The pun wasn't paticularly good though...

"there really should be one of those in the Tate"

  • 1:01 Oh my gosh, it's the evil man from Sherlock! :O

  • Donna and the Doctor: soulmates.

  • Spoilers!

  • What a Mouth Full

  • "Thanks Ood!"

  • @CatsRcute03 lol

  • She doeshave the masters ring on!!!!!!!!

  • Donna was my... third favourite companion. (1 is Harry Sullivan xD and 2 is Sarah Jane Smith)

    So sad this happened. D:

  • I just want you to know, there are worlds out there, safe in the sky because of her. That there are people living in the light, and singing songs of Donna Noble. A thousand, million light years away. They will never forget her, while she can never remember. But for one moment... one shining moment... she was the most important woman in the whole wide universe.

    Ah Donna Noble..

  • thanks ood

  • Doesn't her head blow up when she remembers her past with the doctor???

  • She has the masters ring on

  • The DoctorDonna forever!

  • XtheXthinggXx Yes! Thank god someone else who thinks this. She couldn't distance herself from her I'm "Cath Tate, mate" persona, and many of her episodes felt poor and languid ( the adipodes, the wasp, Rome et al. The best episode that series was " Midnight", and she wasn't anywhere near that plot. But, credit where due, the library and turn left were among the best of RTD.

  • @fullofroubles

I'm french so I didn't know Catherine Tate from her show but mostly from DW (I saw some of her stuff before I saw DW, but not so much), and I just though she was an interesting character. I don't know why but I can't stand Rose, and I like Martha, but the fact that the Doctor had a mate, a best friend, older than his previous companions, who could both joke around and be serious ... I found it really good ! And I think that Catherine Tate proved herself to be a great actress too.

  • @fullofroubless Silence in the Library was actually written by Steven Moffat. Even though RTD was the main writer for the show, he claimed that he never touched any of Moffat's work because it was that good.

  • I love how they say "Christmas" as they would say "Apocalypse" :D

  • Planet of the Hats, I'm ready!

    Because Fezes are cool.

  • I really don't like Donna. I don't understand how you all can. I'm not saying it to me mean, but I truely don't understand. She annoyed me.

  • @XtheXthinggXx It's alright you don't like her. I mean, she's my favorite companion and all, but to each their own. I honestly couldn't stand Rose...now THAT character was annoying.

  • Donna was one of the companions that sort of broke the stereotype of usual Doctor Who companions who fell head over heels for the Doctor. What happened to her is awful because she was one of my favorite companions.

  • And a couple of Daves later, Donna faces her biggest dilemma in a parallel. Can she tell her left from her right? LOL

  • "Leaving the Doctor to face Christmas... alone." X)

  • i personally thing donna was the best companions the docoter has ever had!

  • Art Appreciation. - There should really be one of those in the Tate. LOL It's kinda sad how she turned out. She was happier traveling the galaxy. :(

  • Donna was great because she didn't romantically love the Doctor. They were just really good friends, and great at it.

It was easy to enjoy her because she wasn't trying to take Rose's place.

  • @ashymolassy

Yeah, completely agree with your statements, in addition ... she was f****** badass. #1 companion ever.

  • @ashymolassy I agree. Donna i think was the only companion who didn't crush on the Doctor. I do like the running joke with the, "Oh, we're not a couple..." line.

  • HILARIOUS! Can she tell the left from the right? ... She successfully chooses the left!!!

  • 0:49 LMAO!

  • love Donna best companion ever!

  • doctordonna.tumblr.com

  • THANK'S, OOD!

  • there is a related video that bbc posted that is blocked by bbc. XD

  • lol this makes the episode turn left seem sooo less epic.

  • @Falcor43 Well, that ep was pretty lame in the first place, sooooooo

  • @adult93 ohhhh, yes! I completely agree...lame episode, however I can see it's relevence...

  • Donna was so much better in some ways, because she didn't have that romantic tie to the doctor. of course, she cared for him as everyone does, but she didn't 'love' him and that, I think, is what made her.

  • yeah Donna best companion ever..

  • hahah LOVE the voice over and the switch from cheerful to ominous foreboding '..leaving the Doctor to face Christmas. ALONE.' babahhahaa

  • I love ten Doctor and Donna ;**

  • "There's never been a timelord human metacrisis before, probably because it's such a ____" What does it say there!?

  • @Spectic

    Mouthful

  • @Spectic such a mouthful

  • Best thing I have seen BBC produce since 'Batting with Boycott' in the 80's...

  • Were is Rose "Story in 90 Seconds"? She was the best companion. dr Who.

  • @Szafirowooka21 been trying to find that.......

  • A couple of Daves later! XD

    LOL!

  • donna was definelty my favorite companion. she was so independent and i loved that abou ther she wasnt like rose or martha who fell all over themselves falling in love with him (even though i LOVE martha the actress that played her was simply gorgeous) i never really truely identified with rose and didnt quite get why the doctor loved her so much and not martha

but the fate of donna is so heartbreaking worse than dying in my opinon..

  • @nigeriababygirl im assuming that the 9th doctor had to deal with her so much that when the 10th doctor came around he just loved her

  • @blak23400 she didn't meet the 9th doctor....

  • I don't care how many people don't Like the run through of a time mistress.

  • Donna was the character I identified w/ most from all the Dr. Who series. I thought it was one of the most sad and touching moments of the entire run when she lost her memories of the wonderful things she had done. Don't know why they felt the need to sh** on her like that.

  • @Stepper11 Because it's so heartbreaking. And they're sadistic.

  • "The Doctor Donna. The Doctor Donna, thanks Ood!"

  • best companion.

  • awwww, i miss her =(

  • im sorry for the fate of donna but if she didnt forget/die or lose the doctor then she'd end up being his companion for ever basically like rose tried to be

  • @riaminal I disagree. Unlike Rose, Donna did not have a romantic tie to Dr Who10. As Tate herself once said in an interview, Donna recognised that the Doctor was an alien and did not feel as humans did. I would argue that Donna was not the Doctor's companion so much as the Doctor was hers.

  • @msm2you good point.

  • @msm2you this is a brilliant way of looking at it.

  • @msm2you thats brilliant

  • well done there chap

  • Can we get a quick history of the doctor as well?

  • @kiera181 XD Seriously? There would be volumes and volumes and countless volumes again missing from a ninety-second history of the Doctor.

It's be like ninety-second synopsis of Lord of the Rings-- the books.

It's not as fun as this video, but wiki will point you in the right direction for an explanation of the Doctor as a character.

  • @GreeboSanders Yeah, I've been reading the wiki. I'm so hooked. I go from one link to the next and before I know it, I know all this stuff and haven't even finished the 1st article. It's fun and exhausting :-) Thanks for the suggestion.

  • @kiera181 i dnt thnk we can get a QUICK history to this guym lol! remembr, he's 900+ years old! :D

  • Seem's like 16 IDIOTS missed the like button!

    We love you donna!

  • AWESOME !!!!!

  • Absolutely brilliant! I 'Thanks Kaan,'

  • This was BRILLIANT! Can you please do a Rose and Martha one?

  • Donna was the best companion ever! :)

  • That was pretty freaking cool.

  • the Christmas episode was the best special they did around the testive period..

  • lol

  • I feel bad for martha the doctor ignored her a lot because he was sad about rose leaving and in a deleted scene I have seen she says he looks like James bond and he says thanks or somthing like that then she says do you like my dress he says fantastic then pulls somthing out of his pocket and says I thought I lost this then she just look sad because he ignored her.

  • Oh god this is fab!!

  • huh

  • ood, adipose, and a couple of daves later...

    i literaly lol'd

  • i think that in the next series Rivere Song might be his companion River Song might be is companion

  • the Library episode scared me so bad that ive had night mares since i first saw it

  • wots da point of this?

  • In case someone needs a Donna fix. It's like a quick shot for all your companion obsessing needs.

  • i love Donna

  • Oh, there were enough before Tennant, and there will be a couple more after him.

    Same for Donna.

  • not christmas

  • I think returning her to the obnoxious bitch she started out as, was the most brilliant and yet most tragic ending they could have given her...

  • LOL!

    He said the bitch word

  • Er... yes I did? It's kind of the truth. I didn't like Donna when she first started out - But after she had grown so much as a Person, and 'turn left' showed us WHY she acted so obnoxious, it broke my heart to see her lose all that...

Oh, and one more thing, just so you know, I'm not a 'he', I'm a 'she'.

  • loved when she slapped him hilarious!!!!

  • leaving the docter to face christmas alone!

  • Tell me There's No Noddy!

  • hahaha FUNNY i didnt want the doctor to DIE :(

  • "Don't get all chippy with me

    Vera Duckworth"

Doesn't Donna tell it like it is ?

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!! :D watched it 50 times!!!!!!!!

  • Best companion ever.

  • @Relayer666

    Best New Series Companion, ever.

  • Great tribute to the greatest companion of the new series! 10th doctor and Donna were just such a great duo, hilariously funny and very balanced. She was a force on her own, challenging the Doctor oh so many times, a real "mate" to him

Her fate is really one of the saddest things that could happen, she had grown so much and yet had to return to what she was before... Pretty cruel for the doctor too: he essentially had to kill his best friend

  • @TwEeDNK Did you watch "Doctor who- greatest moments" or were you genuinely awesome enough to say these things on your own? :)

  • LOL! So Funny

  • Well and here be spoilers -- Donna's married and thanks to the Doctor she's a millionaire now with that ahem, winning ticket he bought her.

Long live 10! Love live Donna Noble (in our hearts at least)

  • ... and Mime xD

  • Donna rocks! I will really miss these two

  • *ahem* sensitivity... lol

  • I still think Donna Noble (if there's any justice on TV) will make some sort of return. I thought it was such a cheat that she go back to her mediocre life after doing so much with the Doctor. I'm certain that many fans, not only

I, want to see Donna return, if just for a short time, to the Tardis again. I also would like to see the Doctor's daughter aka Georgia Moffett make another appearance if she isn't too busy snogging David Tennant. ;)

  • Well Steven moffat has said that he realy likes Donna, so he might make her a recurring character. But its doubtfull since he would have to come up with a good reason as to why she wouldn't travel with him forever as she would if she could remember without dieing. If he did that it would take away the effect of the end of season 4 so its probably best just to leave her.

  • Nah, any clever writer can come up with a good plot device to make anything happen. Christ, look how often the Daleks came back ( and don't think Matt Smith will have a turn at them ). I think Donna could make a return---it wouldn't be difficult. Even David Tennant could return as the Doctor if he wished (it's possible).

  • You have a point but I still think it will ruined the awesome ending of series 4. So far RTD has done an okay job at bringing the Darleks back but he done so too damm much. SM would do a great Darlek epiosde but hes letting Richard Curtis do it and it somes realy bad. Something about nice Darleks helping Churchill During WW2 and Matt smith being stupid enough to try and hit it with a slegahammer. If they do the same thing with Donna it would be a disaster unless SM done it himself of course.

  • The Daleks ALWAYS get brought back, but so far, few companions did. You can't compare Villain-Joker-Imunity to bringing back main character who have finished their storyarcs. So far, only Sarah Jane got brought back - Rose doesn't count as the whole of the new Series could be counted as her "character arc". They won't bring her back after that sad little scene in EoT. I think it would ruin everything to bring her (or Donna) back again - things need good endings for them to be meaningful.

  • What do you think about Martha? I know its unlikely any of them come back but I think of all three of 10's companions her return would be the easiest to make.

  • Even if Moffat liked Donna, RTD has said that he doesn't think that any of his Characters will be returning. I'd say that Jack is too popular for him NOT to come back, but Donna's ending wasn't "a cheat", it was a brilliant plot twist that squeezed all of us through the emotional torque. Moffat knows better than to ruin that - and judging by River's reaction to Donna's Name, he doesn't plan to, either.

  • I still feel that Donna Noble may yet have her memories restored, it's still open as a plot even if for an episode or two. The jury's still out on this one though it's too bad she and David Tennant will have no more outings since their chemistry was just so good together.

  • she acts just like she would in real life, that's what I've noticed about Donna.

  • you british people have such crude humor. I like it. lol. nothing in the states beats Monty Python. the closes thing is National Lampoon and Caddyschack, and those were made in the 80's

  • glade u like brits so much XD

  • Great vid! I'm hoping the healing machine in "End of Time helps her remember without dying. AND" they don't kill her off in the finale.

  • Never in the history of the new series has any writer killed off a main character. :) Listen to the commentary of doomsday. :)

  • Hope RTD isn't going to be the first! Other than the Doctor himself, she's my favorite Doctor Who character.

  • Damn. Pretty good.

    I'm gonna miss Donna.

  • LMFAO, "There really should be one of those in the Tate." AHAHA, I get it! Cause there's a museum called the Tate Gallery and her name is Catherine Tate!

    Ahaha!!!

    ¬¬;

Hope my sarcasm transferred well. :)

  • @TheLastLoneWolf I love you.

  • @TheLastLoneWolf LULZ I've been to the Tate on a school trip! The only thing that came close to that beetle was a fake lobster on a telephone.

  • People said exactely the same thing about Christopher Eccelston. The main reason Dr Who has lasted so long is because it isn't the same..... that's the point! The Dr never gets old/dies and you can go anywhere in time = infinte story possibilities.

  • haha this is hilarious!

donna faces her biggest dilema... can she tell her left from her right?

  • Donna saves the doctor

    *Doctor's hand drops*

    Saves london

    *Mushroom cloud appears*

    I completely lol'd!
