No disrespect to the Manchester CWS Silver Band, but this is my favourite version of the song. The little oompah bit after "I need to spend some money and it just won't wait" floors me every time.

I believe it's from the "Nocturne" episode, (broadcast on the 19th of September 1981) of the short-lived BBC 1 arts series "A Little Night Music"

The line-up is Richard and Linda " with Simon Nicol, Dave Mattacks, John Kirkpatrick and Pete Zorn.
