  • I appreciate your introduction. Few YouTubers bother to try to explain their research with such care. I want to correct one thing you misstated. The Maya did write on paper, and you can see how beautiful their handwriting was by looking at their painted ceramics. Have a look at Mayavase.com. I believe I can detect some of your sources. Did you find FAMSI? May I humbly recommend my books, "Reading the Maya Glyphs" and "2012: Science and Prophecy of the Ancient Maya"? Best of luck!

  • how about 600bc, new findings in Cancuen, Guatemala have been found recently even before the Zapotecs

  • All Native Americans should just adapt the Mayan writing to their langauges like all Asians use Chinese writing and all Europeans use this Roman writing I am using right now.

  • @SPS148669

Depends on if the system is compatible with other languages such as Cherokee, Nahua and Lakotan.

I heard there somewhat related but by how much i couldn't tell you.

I am a Native from Canada. Here we have a "propriety" syllabic writing system for some Native tribes like Cree and Obijway. But white racists will point out it was still developed with "White" aid. If we were to use the mayan system than the racists can't no longer claim they are supperior to us since they borrowed from the Romans as well.

  • @SPS148669 hey thats a good idea i encourage all Native Americans to study Mayan writing, history and Culture.

  • this writing system can evan write hebrew if needed!!!! amazing genuises!!

  • @ SPS148669:

All Asians DO NOT use the Chinese writing system, of which there are two, by the way, the modern communist shorthand and the classical imperial style.

The Japanese and Koreans supplement their alphabets with (imperial) Chinese characters, while the Burmese, Thais, Cambodians, etc., base theirs on Brahmi, which comes from India (which uses 14 alphabets depending on region).

Indonesians, Malays and Southern Filipinos use modified versions of the Arabic script.
