@maybe9909 Hey, don't fret my friend. God knows you're human, He knows you're bound to sin hundreds of times in your lifetime. We can't be perfect like Jesus. Sure, we can try our best but undoubtedly it will be impossible to avoid sin completely. But that's alright, cos we're already forgiven! So long as you acknowledge you've done wrong, say you're sorry and ask for forgiveness, then you'll get it! A clean slate each time you do. God will always be there for you. sin is split into two categories.

Avoidable Sin and

Sin where you cannot control e.g. you look at someone straight away and hate on them, thats breaking the commandment of murder, because in God's eyes, he sees hatred to other people as murder.

the guy you were replying to obviously is talking about avoidable sin e.g. taking drugs or something ( you should get my point)

but yeah what you said still makes sense nevertheless.
