  • that was totally sexy

  • @Couturefashion101 that made no sense. if its harder then its a good gym

  • @Couturefashion101 yeah but the tumbling sucks. sure you can do a full but it looks like shit and also stuntig isnt hard either trust me i know i sadly used to cheer. gymnastics is way harder than cheerleading.

  • i wanna get in gymnastics sooooooo bad lol

  • Man I gotta learn manna and planche

  • Guy talks funny c:

  • At the start it sounds like he's saying gym-nazis. Funny.

  • Is this Universal Gymnastics :)

  • They make it look so easy! ARRRGGHHH!

  • Damn. I want to be able to do that.

  • @Couturefashion101 gymnastics is way harder than cheerleading.ive done gymnastics for 6 years.then went to cheerleading.in gymnastics you do way more than pushups, sit ups, and running.theres skin the cats and superwomens.those were one of the hardest things for me.none of those involve standing on your hands dummie.in a backhand spring your on your hands at somepoint.yes.so you stan on your hands in cheerleading to.so please come to your senses and see that cheerleading isnt as hard

  • @Couturefashion101 First: search gymnastics conditioning montage. I'd post the URL, but it won't allow it. This is normal. I did some of these conditioning exercises in a /rec/ class. I also took a cheer tumbling class. The conditioning was was still hard, but not nearly what it was in gymnastics. Cheer takes work and great strength at competitive levels, but not nearly the same work and strength as artistic gymnastics. Even most of the tumbling in cheer is lower level tumbling in gymnastics.

  • @Couturefashion101 I'm confused, how was I dissing gymnastics? Last time I checked I'm a pretty huge gymnastics fan...

  • i think conditioning is the orste part of gymnastics or anyother sport but thats the part that makes u strong and thats where u get all ur muscles in any sport

  • @Couturefashion101

Acro and tumbling require strength yes, but not to the same degree as what is needed for rings, bars and pommels. So shut up.

  • @Couturefashion101

No you're completely wrong. Cheerleaders don't require anything close to the strength or athletisism that a competitive gymnast needs to excel. They don't train the same number of hours, they don't even have the same skillsets. Cheerleading is basically tumbling/sports acro but with bigger groups, and even the most top level sports acro teams don't train as much as their artistic counterparts. You're not convincing anyone here, so just drop it.

  • @Couturefashion101 It's a rope not a sneaker factory. If they can't climb a rope how do you expect them to be able to swing around on bars? Most of them love it and find it a fun challange, for those of them that don't, we try and make it fun for them and encourage them if they don't make it. This is becoming redundant...

  • @Couturefashion101 If you've never seen a gymnast climb a rope then you havn't spent a lot of time around gymnasts, do you think I just made it up? It's a part of our conditioning and not just the elite girls. Every competitive gynast in the gym from age 6 up climbs the rope and we work out 24 hours a week or more. Nothing will convince me that cheerleaders work as hard as gymnasts. mostly because gymnasts put out a better, more efficient product

  • @Couturefashion101 I bet all you even do is stand there and cheer! Why don't you go and do gym conditioning for a week and get a huge rips in your hands, fall off a beam whilst tumbling and perhaps then you might shut up because you are wrong you are wrong!! Have a nice day xx

  • I admit I giggled at the accent but no need to be an a-hole about it. I know it's hard not to be able to hear the perfect American accent all of the time but there -are- an incredible amount of people out there that do speak with accents, trust me. And that just means that he's bilingual, let's see how crap we all sound trying to speak a foreign language.

Aside from that rant, damn those gymnasts are incredible

  • Damn right those skills need a lot of practice - sheesh!

  • @Couturefashion101

In NO WAY is cheering or sports acro harder than artistic gymnastics. An Olympic level gymnast trains over 25 hours per week. They have to pull their entire body weight around bars and rings, swing it around pommel horses, as well as vault over a table, tumble on the floor and land daring moves on a beam narrower than the span of my hand. Cheering is tougher than people give it credit, but it is NOT harder than artistic gymnastics.

  • easy easy lemmon sweezy

  • yes very impressive but...i can play the traingle :D

  • @Couturefashion101 as a cheerleading and gymnaast coach i agree with the ghastlypirate. if you have links to you team on youtube i would think seriously before being so rude on the internet. because a your giving your team a bead name and b. your giving cheerleaders a bad name.

cheerleaders are constantly tryinf to convince people that we are not the sterotype that everyone thinks we are. I recomend you take a different appraoch to conveying this to other people.

  • that chick is fucking hot

  • can anybody tell me how to get this??

  • Damn, I'd let her vault my pole.

  • Comment removed

  • @Couturefashion101 there is an all star competitive cheer team that works out in my gymnastics gym. think about this, we condition for 45 minutes which included presses like the ones in the video, climbing our rope which is 25 feet high with no legs at all, running, sit ups and crunches and several other excecises utilizing our body weight. then after that we also tumble and do 3 other events. im not saying cheer is easy but it doesnt compare to gymnastics in the aspects of precision & strength

  • @MariaVana AS a cheelreader and a gymnast.. being coaches in both. i completely agree. although i have trained with teams and caoched teams in cheer that train just as hard as gymnasts!

cheer although very much like gymnasts to a normal person. focuses on different things :) sorta :)

  • @Couturefashion101 Excuse me? As a former competitive cheerleader and gymnast I have to say that you are being A) Rude and B) ignorant. Both cheerleading and gymnastics are tough sports. In cheerleading you must be able to do jumps, tumbling and stunts with a smile. In gymnastics (Those stupid bars) cause giant rips in your hands and you must also tumbling on a four inch wide apparatus. They are both hard but in different ways. You are the type of person who gives cheerleaders a bad name.

  • @Couturefashion101 Whateverr. Its not.

  • @Couturefashion101 Uhh Not itss not :)

  • that dude kept on staring at her vag

  • Yeah I just tried that man-up press with fingertips and I was able to do it ... still not good as that guy but not at all bad for a beginner right ?

  • not man-up , it's manna.... incredibly hard strength move.

  • No gymnastics conditioning is harder trust my in a competative gymnast and competative cheerleader and gymnastics is way harder I train for 6 hours 7 times a week!

  • @Couturefashion101 BWAHAHAHAAHAHA

  • i soo really want to do this i need it for gymnastics am not even close to geting my v press lol xx any tips xx thanx xx

  • Oh, hell no.

    Cheerleading, here I come!

    LOL.

  • people can DO THIS????? OMGosh!!!!

  • Oh NOW I realize why I can't perform the "MAN-UP" (Manna) press -- it requires alot of PRACTICE! Thanks for pointing that out, coach.

  • "This is a sport in which most of the skills come from the body" dude speaks the obvious

  • @cwjalexx he's one of the best coaches in the world...

  • @1team1dream09 that's great if he's one of the best coaches, but all he said in this video was conditioning is important, u gotta be strong, and u gotta practice a lot. everybody knows that shit, reveal something to help us

  • woah- that guy's press is like inhuman!

  • What is that guys name SERIOUSLY!!

  • Why did you call it "man-up" press....I'm pretty sure that's a "MANNA" press...that the male gymnast performs...

  • @Joeyclubbin

    thats what he said

  • oh god, i remember when i used to do that first one. it literally burnt your stomach.

  • 8-360s down 3 flights of is a 2880 to watch youtube hassel handstand

  • conDITioning

  • na das schaffe ich aber auch

  • omfg, that's the exact words that came out of my mouth after he said that...lol

  • wow... lame

  • he forgot to mention flexebuility

  • BEAST AS #$#@@#

  • man, i can do first. but manna is impossible for me now(

  • their both crazy freakin strong, i used to be able to do the straddle press...... i fail now.

  • ouch!

  • how do u call the skill that the man does ??

  • i actually like the expert village videos but his english sucks though

  • hey dont insult 1 of the coaches thats in my gym i go to

  • these are amazing skills but in all of his videos he doesn´t really explain the skill but i still like to see it :)

  • thats our team leo for warm up at meets

  • Jesus, talk about strength, flexibility and balance!

  • because he speaks a different language most likley is new to english or has an accent

  • that guy is an expert. yin alvarez. look him up. look up his gymnasts (i.e. the guy in the video - danell levya).

and having done gymnastics for a long time, you'll find that a large number of coaches are foreign

  • danell leyva*

  • expert village is the exact opposite, its all bullshit, they diont even know the name of the skills, expert village SUCKS!

  • I don't have the flexibility for that.

  • People think gymnastics are easy but this video shows things we do make them seem like wimps. Like I couldn't do ring or high bar with no strength.

  • the second move is called a "manna" not man-up

  • It is a manna but when going from a manna to a handstand at the end its called a man up press

  • man they seem really hard.. especially for me

  • i do the handstand press on beam...it takes soo much control and have been working on doing man ups...i have them for the most part but they are eveb harder!!

  • oh my fucking god!!!

  • i love it but its hard when u have to get ur legs up...seriously

  • HOLY SHIT

  • Wow. I feel like a wimp!

  • Very, very nice.

Those exercises are hard ( at least for me ), but Im gonna keep trying.

    Practice practice practice
