OMG I am do embarrassed for these ppl. Obviously they've never really walked the walk or talked the talk. You cannot do the bus stop without a lot of soul which they seem to really lack. Not to mention the moves looked pretty improvised.

Yeah, that's not the Bus Stop I learned in the mid-70s, either. And the best song to do the Bus Stop to is "Do the Bus Stop" by The Fatback Band from about 1975. The song they're dancing to here is Chic's "Good Times" from 1979, when the Bus Stop was no longer that popular.

I didn't mean to suggest that I don't appreciate their effort here. I'm glad there's at least some effort to remember elements of history, and they made it look fun, too. I suppose it's hard to find info now on just what dance was what. I remember little paperback books in the 70s that showed all the steps for the different dances. Plus, back then there were TV shows that showed how to do them. How would people today be able to find any of that?
