I noticed that when Jiminy Cricket says "Good piece of wood, too.", it sounds like a voice recorded exclusively for the trailer and not the actual one heard in the movie
Thanks for finding this trailer. This was the trailer for the 1992 re-release which was not included on the DVD Platinum Edition as well as the 1984. I also remember seeing the 1978 re-release since I was a baby at the theater along with "The Small One".
No, I think: 1. 1991 green FBI screens 2. "Coming to Home Video" logo 3. "The Great Mouse Detective" trailer 4. "Now on Home Video" logo 5. "Sleeping Beauty" trailer 5. "Alice in Wonderland" trailer 6. "The Sword in the Stone" trailer 5. "Dumbo" trailer 4. "Robin Hood" trailer 5. 1991 lilac blue FP logo 6. 1992 clean WDC logo 7. RKO logo
Oh, yeah. You don't need those lilac blue logos because they already have the "Coming Only to Theatres This 1992 Holiday Season", "Coming to Home Video", and "Now on Home Video" logos.
I saw "Pinocchio (1940)" DVD before.

@Poever Than check out a "Princess and the Frog" trailer. Gives the whole thing away.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Monstro roared like a T-Rex?

Nothing but they joy of using your camera far away from the TV watching a trailer of a puppet with a fork tongue!

Are you looking correctly? Every Platinum review I read mentions three trailers.
dsneybuf 2 years ago
This is nice, do you have any other trailers on this DVD?
byw613 2 years ago
No. Just the 1984 & 1992 reissue trailers and the original 1940 trailer.
Kartoonkid95 2 years ago
If possible could you please upload them?
byw613 2 years ago
No, because I have uploaded the two reissue trailers on the set and the 1940 trailer is already up by someone else. Thank you, though!

I think the 1992 theatrical trailer of Pinocchio is better than the 1993 VHS trailer, unless it came from The Three Caballeros, instead of Aladdin!
hersheyandshadow 2 years ago
There's no 1992 print of "The Three Caballeros".
systemoperator 2 years ago
I meant I wish the Pinocchio VHS trailer didn't come from Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast, but I wish it came from a 1940's Disney cartoon!
hersheyandshadow 2 years ago
I see.

Here's what my sugesstion for the 1992 print if they made it
1. Green FBI screens
2. liaic blue "Now Available on Videocassette" (with the 1989 FP jingle/voiceover "Now on Walt Disney Home Video."
3.Pete's Dragon preview
4. liaic blue "Coming Soon to Videocassette" (with voiceover "And Now, Coming Soon to Videocassette")
5.Beauty and the Beast preview
6.purple "Coming Soon to Theatres" (with voiceover "And Now, Coming Soon To Theaters"
7. this
8. 1991 Feature Presentation logo.

That version might be the 1993. The bootleg version goes like this:
7. this
8. 1991 Lilac Blue FP logo.
rod1014 2 years ago
Are you kidding me? That wouldn't be 1993 because "The Great Mouse Detective" wasn't available then.
systemoperator 2 years ago
Oh yeah, What I mean is that the one with the pinochioo preview with the rare lilac blue logos and pete's dragon preview is a bootleg version.
rod1014 2 years ago
