watch the video and stop it at about 5:00min this is where i started by launching it forward with enough speed to get it to the skull and fireworks. took a few tries. and i just began recording when it reached the skull and let it play out. a couple clips were meshed to together to give the illusion that you came to a stop and began rolling backwards. does that help?

Search for "vodhin RCT3" He has all the best custom scenery and links for all that you may need to maximize RCT3. I also used Window's Movie Maker 5.1 with Service Pack 2. This video was made completely with RCT3 and a little video editing. Beside all that I am a true addict.

u have to leave it alone while it records. It is taking a movie frame by frame. depending on the length of the ride, a recording can last from 30mins to several hours. A TON of memory and a good video card helps.

Coaster1 (we'll call it that) is launched fast enough to reach coaster2(there are a total of 4 coasters in this video to make 1) Once i filmed and reviewed the jump and landing (3:13) I went back and added a station to coaster 2. Set to powered launch and began riding/filming again. It took a bit of brainstorming to figure out but It worked for me. I hope this helps. Good luck!

I have LOVED theme parks all my life and used to do drawings and stuff as a kid. I have considered making it a profession and going to school but IDK. I don't think I would like the technical aspect. At least in a game there are NO limits. Stay tuned next month. I am working on an entire park/hotel/citywalk complex and am almost ready to film a teaser video.

it was all video editing. train flew off track and then hit the one below and crashed. i stopped recording there. then built a station and launched it from the point in which the previous coaster train had crashed. then meshed them together in movie maker till it appeared that it left one track and fell to another.

Not only does this movtivate me to mess with RCT3 more because of it's beauty... but also because it opens up the concept of what I make not necessarily having to be all one contiguous ride but that editing can be used to mesh things together (at least that is what I assume was done here). I am eager to see what this is going to be like "more refined"... he he

Thanks for the positive responses. I had been dying to do an "epic" type ride. The theme may be a bit generic, although this is my 1st ride video where how i was going to edit the video played a big part in how i was going to design the ride. Not bad for a first. The next one will be a lot more refined and polished. Any Ride/Theme/Story suggestions?

Wow, I kinda saw a spot where the coaster train got derailed, maybe its just the smoke and fog, but it really looked like the train flew of the original track and landed on a secondary set of tracks. also good to see something where the rider doesn't survive the ride.
