  • Dear Mrs Pelosi

You're an idiot! Who in their right mind will support a THREE TRILLION DOLLAR BUDGET, after YOU JUST BLEW THROUGH ANOTHER THREE TRILLION in back door payoffs to your political contributors and liberal groups like ACORN!

I can't wait until you're removed from control of the House of Representatives in two years!

Go back to school when your party leaves power and learn some financial math and fiduciary responsibility.

  • Back-off!! She didn't choose that war. A tiny cabal of neocons did that. This woman has sucessfully run the House for nearly a year and if you think she should "back-burner" something as important as a more fair federal budget then you are as irresponsible as you claim the Speaker to be. Democrats= Peace, Prosperity, and Progress. GOP= War, Debt, Poverty, and stagnation. Blaming everyone= infantile ranting that gets us nowhere. Get with the Democratic program or get out of the way!!

  • Speaker Nancy Pelosi

Why do people praise a War Criminal? She still funds a criminal enterprise like Iraq yet says discussions of Impeaching the original crime lords is off the table. She can stop funding the war just as EASILY.

    Call - (202) 225-4965

Ware her down with your VOICE. Tell her you know the TRUTH and aren't buying her bullshit anymore. Call her the War Criminal she is!

  • I love how the video lags a bit from the audio

  • I LOVE YOU PELOSI.

  • Nancy Pelosi is the best thing to happen to this country in a long time. After years of suffering through Bush's regime we finally have someone speaking up for the American people. Tax cuts to the top one percent has caused this nation to go into the red. And wasting money on the military/war has put us in a historic hole. Thank you Mrs. Pelosi for standing up for us!

  • @4banksd

And you are as ignorant as that witch..

  • Pelosi needs a bigger plane for her next trip to syria, maybe she can spend more of our money(there is plenty more where that came from) for her next photo opportunity with a bunch of terrorist.

  • I don't care if the budget gets veto'd or not, as long as Bush doesn't get his way.

  • Well, what if it could be shown that the budget was a great one. Who you still say bush shouldn't get his way?

  • I think was people don't understand is the low revenues(taxes) and high expenses(spending) equals a deficient. You can't have both low taxes and fund education, farmers, etc. without the consequences of being in the red!

  • Isn't the national debt only $9 trillion total? Am I understanding this correctly, that we would have paid the national debt off in two years under the last clinton budget? Something is not sounding right here.

  • that was great until the religious undertones...

oh well, you still got my vote =D

  • Bob Dole proposed an amendment that would stop having a defecit, didn't get passed and then we had a huge defecit. Clinton just didn't propose enough programs to surpass the spending. Plus Clinton taxed 22% of the GDP compared to the 20% GDP of republicans.

  • Most of that additional 2% was probably coming from the top 5% of the population income wise so... who cares.

  • And then Bush decided they had an unfair burrden on society.

  • No it was the 1993 tax plan that put the budget in order during the 1990s. We all know by now, given the last several years of Republican rule, that they don't know thing one about governing responsibly.

  • Clinton's biggest tax increase in history was the so-called budget balancer, nutwad.

  • what i dont get is why bush increases spending, but decreased govt revenue (eg decreasing revenue received from the wealthiest ppl/corp.s/other groups). did he ever wonder where the money would come from to cover his record spending? it looks like he just didnt care.

  • The republicans won the Congress in 94...so wasn't it Clinton working with the republicans that got such surpluses??

  • kind of! but the president has spending power. the republican had nothing to do with Clinton honoring the budget.

  • so then, would you place blame on Bush for a budget veto, or Congress for making an unacceptable budget? Especially is Bush announces that veto ahead of the vote as well?

  • If it has bipartisan support, then I would blame Bush for a budget veto. But if it is an unacceptable, then it would be hard to pass both House and Senate.

  • well, do you think it's acceptable to attach a bunch of pork to a bill, this pork designed specifically to BUY bipartisan support?

  • its not acceptable, but its been done numerous times by both sides to get their bill passed. Right or wrong, its the way in Congress!

  • so you're admitting we don't have a new and improved congress. we have the same type as we always have and their still going to screw us all over?

  • No. It is an improved Congress, but it is not a new Congress. And you're equating one bill to the 6 years that Republicans had in power. This is not the same type of Congress that we always had--this Congress is making people take accountability for their wrongdoings. And this Congress can't possibly screw us all over like the last one did--passing the Patriot Act, Bankruptcy Bill, etc.

  • Accountability for Republicans sure, but not for Democrats. Congressman Jefferson ($90 grand in the freezer) is still in office. how's that accountability?

  • well, Jefferson haven't even been charged with anything, have he? And if this was such an open-and-shut case, then how come the Republican-led Justice Dept. stop investigating?

Now, if he's charged and convicted, he should re-sign.

But your overall tone is correct, Dems can't condemn Reps for put pork in their bills, and then do the same thing when they're in office.

  • People are condemning Libbie for leaking Valerie Plame even though he wasn't charged with that crime. Would it be safe to say that both parties are just playing the politics game and don't really care about us?

  • people are condemning Libby for leaking Plame because people don't know the story. He lied in court in order to protect whoever did the leaking. And both parties are playing the politics game. But whether or not they care about us should be based on the bills they pass.

  • We know who leaked it, The Times! But that story really doesn't matter. Them caring about us: dream on. ALL politicans wants money and/or power, with the possible excpetion of very local gov't. That's it. They will say whatever they think gets them a spot in DC and then go back to doing whatever they want.
