Dude I just now stumbled across your videos and I am astounded. I think what you are doing is pretty damn cool. You got a good thing going and I think you are very lucky to be able to do all of this, AND that your wife is down with helping you and everything haha. only the parts you saw in the vid. we lost the guns and the bridge, oh and its helipad and helicopter. (Sniff...sniff) but the footage is AWESOME! dont worry, ill post it someday.

Wow awsome set. I really like how you used fireworks as the missles. But wouldnt an indoor set be easier since theres no fear of wind or other stuff interfering?

as soon as i asked my wife about fireworks in the house, she told never to ask again.
;) most of our filming we do indoors, but this scene had to be an exception, especially for the water. much better than chromakeying.

fireworks rock bro! If you do a closeup on a missile pod and slow the frame rate to look like slow motion when it fires it will be super sweet. I look forward to it.

sadly our daylight had gone down too far for the last scene of the base explosion to be useable...at least for now. We had to wait on several boats to GET OUT OF OUR WAY! before we could do it. Its not like I was trying to do movie making on a boat ramp. geezow!
