@killerpomer theres a vast gulf between hurting an animal and putting a piece of tape on its paw. as long as you dont use some insano tape that rips hair out, youre not really hurting them, just confusing them. sure its still a bit mean, but i did this a few times to my cat, and she never seemed to mind much. just looked at me like im stupid, which admittedly might be true. ;)

@killerpomer As anyone that has ever had a cat will tell you, a cat that is in pain will not walk around so casually. Unless cats have developed some massive tape allergy nobody has documented yet, it is physically impossible for tape stuck on a cat like that to kill it.

The worst that cat would have to deal with is a little pulled fur when the tape comes off.
