  • can sme of these kids learn how to role their sleeves have to redo ours if they look like that

  • man i cant wait for Boot Camp

    20110808

    Parris Island SC

    MOS: Infantry

  • wtf are these ranks they're giving these kids? a Lt.Colonel cadet lmao

  • @ddog1049 lmao!

  • lol im a Cadet Captain

  • JROTC is fun and all but in the end we are not disiplin and we have favorites in the program. I have been passed up for a promotion 8 times because 3 years ago our S-1 wanted to get some from girls

  • HAHA they give cadets real ranks like LtCol. They are just abbusing the word and have noright to earn that title. They arnt even part of the military.

  • @PresidentialMoments Dude STFU!!!!! we wear the uniform to show pride to our nations military. year JROTC is not perfect but damn when we wear the uniform we show it with pride. also were just kids so yea we act like kids and yea eventually we get the occasional kid who disrespects the uniform but we kick them out. so again please SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THE PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!

  • @PresidentialMoments Actually, JROTC is part of the military, the Reserves to be exact. That's why the abbreviation is Junior RESERVE Officer Training Corps. If the person decides to enlist, they can join with 1 or 2 pay grades above those who join without JROTC experience. The ranks are given as in the real branch in order to provide for leadership and organization. And maybe these kids are not in active duty, but the discipline, values, or skills that they learn will serve them in the future.

  • You might want to contact CNET, Chief of Navy Education and Training. They are the ones whom prescribe these uniforms.

  • why in hell do those cadets wear our uniform???

  • Because if you're going to represent a force, you might as well look like the force. Idk, that's something you'd have to ask whoever is in command of the nation's JROTC programs. I'm in the USNSCC and we have real Navy uniforms as well, from service dress to BDUs; we just put USNSCC insignia on them and it's approved and funded by the Department of the Navy. We have summer and winter trainings run by service personnel also.

  • They are known as "Devil Pups", also known as 'Wannabe Marines'. They might be the future 'Devil Dogs'. Unfortunately, they are extremely undisciplined. To me, the JROTC program is failing miserably.

  • That exactly how I feel. The NSCC is always compared to JROTC, but I think that unfair to us. We do 10 times the stuff JROTC units do, and are held to MUCH higher standards. Whenever we are invited to run an event or something similar and a JROTC unit is there, we always marvel at how retarded they look. They are always jacked up and unsat, and they just walk around with their mouths open like a bunch of morons.

  • Exactly. On top of the fact they act foolishly, they wear our uniform. They shouldn't be allowed to wear 'Blood Strips'. Whether Navy or Marine, they should hold themselves to a higher standard. I'm a future Marine. Shipping Dec 7, '09. If you join the Navy, I hope to see you on the fleet.

  • Oorah, good luck. Im starting college next year; nrotc civil engineering. Seabees all the the way. I'll see you out there in the sandbox man.

  • Wheres the proof?

  • Proof of what?

  • great video!!
