Absolutely breathtaking! An architectural jewel with period furniture still intact whihc gives us a 'snapshot' into time and a wonderful window on how life must have been like then living in this wonderful place. A heritage so well preserved - very ornate inside - it has got to be one of the most beautiful castles of the world. Such a pleasure to visit in cyberspace. It's amazing that these buildings susrvived WW1, WW2 and the Communist era in their original state, especially with all their gold, paintings and beautiful artifacts.

Wow! I visited Peles Castle in March 2005. It was awesome. Watching this video sure brings back memories and putting it with an Enya song is very suiting. If you have the opportunity to go to Romania, make sure to visit Peles Castle!

In my opinion, the Peles Castle is one of the most beautiful castles out there.

No photograph can really depict how spectacular and unique it is.

Go see it with your own eyes.

I have very old-fashioned ideas about architectural beauty and so I love castles. I like the interiors of this building. Dark wood panels and richly decorated fabrics. Brown and green go well together. Just lovely.
