I've read a lot about the Bundy cases and seen a number of documentaries on him... while his crimes were heinous and he was a despicable excuse for a human being, I just can't support the death penalty and it's painful to watch people celebrate anyone's death... but that's just me

The thing about Bundy is that he had escaped from prison twice before. After his execution two of the bars in his cell were found sawed through. He could have escaped & done it again. With the Florida murders, he was on the run. As much as I'm not a fan of the death penalty, Bundy deserved much harsher punishment - the electric chair was probably an easier way to go compared to his victims. Look at the face of little Kimberly Leach and those other girls - Bundy wasn't punished harshly enough.

Regardless of what he did, I don't think he should have been excuted. I'm NOT saying that what he did was right in anyway shape or form, it makes me sick to think about what he did to those poor girls. But killing someone for killing someone is like fucking for abstinence or fighting for peace. It's stupid.

Not to mention the fact that by killing him, he is just being put out of his misery. I say stick these bastards in solitary for the rest of there lives. THAT would be punishment.
