Thats cool man, I wish I would have caught that episode before i went to Japan. I would have liked to try that. I did get to try live shrimp, but didnt really care for it (too mushy). But the habu sake I had in Kyoto was my favorate of all!

well.. all I have to say andy.... you definitely have balls to try it. I am always fascinated with what Zimmerman and you eat. I saw the video of the Vietnam Snake dishes.. it was wicked, a little sickening, but awesome at the same time. I think the mere fascination that humans have with watching others eat what is out of the ordinary for them is like a wonder. I hope to see you try other neat things....

How am I a stupid American by traveling around the world with a mind open to all new foods and experiences? The stupid americans you hear other countries talking about are those people without a passport but still talk shit about other countries and the people who have the balls to travel to new places and create awesome memories, like me. It seems that you don't get it, that food taste the same way if the animal is dead or alive! the only reason they are serving those animals alive is because they know you are gonna pay for them!
