  • I'm a SOx fan but there's just something special about hearing 60,000 people singing God Bless America at Yankee Stadium....

  • God bless America and the New York Yankees.

  • Brings tears to my eyes. While I am a Diamondbacks fan, I respect the Yankees traditions and dedication. God Bless!

  • the clock struck 11 right as he finished.

  • GOd Bless America - and Thank you to all those who make us FREE

  • MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA for the YANKEES and for the rest of the country

  • How come no one was singing along during the first part before the "God Bless America" part?

  • Not to compare the two, but it's like Jingle Bells. There is more than 1 verse, but the song is often shortened - therefore, most people only know the "sung" verse. In this case, the "God Bless America...." and following is the part that is most often sung, and therefore most well-known.

    ...therefore more people sang it.

  • I miss that old ball park. I remember my father telling me stories of when he went to Game 6 of the 96 world series and how the stadium actually shook. The new stadium is beautiful but this one was always full, loud and just a great feeling in it.

  • This year the Stadium in the Bronx will shake even louder and more intense - cuz the Yankees win, thaaaaaaa yankees win!!

  • very nice video. Thank You for posting this.

  • No problem. Was an amazing night.

  • Im a Red Sox fan...and i also must say there will never be another Yankee Stadium. not only great sox yanks games but so many sporting events over the years ..JOE LOUIS THE POPE i mean com on so much history...i respect the stadium ..

But im not getting soft still hate all you yankees out there but never as much a those FRENCH CANADIAN MONTREAL CANADIAN FANS..

  • Man I'm a Red Sox fan and that night I will never forget. I have a ton of respect for a hallowed stadium that has brought us the greatest moments in Baseball history. Sox Yanks games will never be the same.

Man Why didn't they just renovate again. Stupid owners have no sense of tradition as Yankee Stadium, Fenway, Wrigley, Dodger Stadium.

I was literally in tears when I listened to Ronan sing the last rendition in the only "Cathedral Of Baseball".

R.I.P Yankee Stadium You'll be truly missed.

  • Much respect

  • Gave me chills. I still don't understand why they can't just keep using the old stadium. In fact, that's the only Yankee Stadium I'll ever consider to be the true one. There's Yankee Stadium, and then there's "that one across the street".

  • What a voice, great singer, sends chills up your spine

  • Ronan..the best ever...and he's ours

  • i was in the bleachers for this game...

i had chills throgh out the entire game....

    RIP YANKEE STADIUM!!!!!!!

"we'll see ya across the street"

  • give me the chills.. will miss this place

  • Glad I got to go to Yankee stadium before it shut. One of the best stadiums in the world.

  • GOD BLESS YANKEE STADIUM

  • going to miss this

  • R.I.P. Yankee Stadium<3

  • Farewell Yankee Stadium!!!=)

The best place in the planet...

  • MANY great memories and Championships at this great stadium !!!!!!!!!

  • Ronan has tons of talent you moron.

  • Awesome. Lots of great memories of Yankee Stadium but my favorite will always be of Ronan Tynan singing "God Bless America" during the postseason after the 9/11 attacks. Thanks for posting.
