@korn228 It would be very difficult as an F1 is designed for very smooth tracks. There are so many points where F1 car would be in danger of flipping over after front wheels or even all four wheels left the road. It is very bumpy so F1 under-tray would scrape such as bottom of Barregarrow and numerous other places. It would need to be built with long travel suspension and more ground clearance. May be an interesting excercise but I'd say a rally car or GTR R35 would have a better chance.

Every time I filmed on-board laps of the TT, track days or Der Ring' I would end up being a little faster. I stopped videoing in the end . Here in SW Chile, it makes me want to get back on a sports bike & head back to the island. The older I get, the better I used to be, in reality I needed more club racing before I'd have raced the Manx. This lap looks speeded up, but isn't. Hope he get his win. Check out the EVO magazine web site to see him in action in the Focus rally car.

In my VERY limited experience of motor racing, Ive always found what he says is true, your fastest laps feel slow to you when you are doing them, like you aren't really trying-maybe its that you have relaxed more I dont know. I also try to use his advice whenever possible, perhaps sacrifice speed in a corner to get a better run out will give you a better time
