the reason that the thwomps in Mushroom Mountains and the Banzai Bill in the Switch Palace were glitched was because there is a specific sprite set for each type of level (Switch Palace, Regular, Ghost House, Castle, ect.) and when you use an object from a different sprite set it uses the corresponding sprites from the sprite set on the level you are on, which "glitches" the sprite.
