I remember back in 2000 during the chad controversy in Florida he was like "give Fla. bush and he has the presidency" the proceeds to say "take Fla. away from Bush and e can still win if there are recounts in these 9 states" I swear I wish there was clips of that up?
i loved tim russert he broke things down when it came to the election so i could even understand the detail and the percentage and everything was so detailed i could understand it RIP mr russert
I miss Tim SOOOOOOO!!!!!!He was brilliant and (like Peter Jennings) I am starving to see actual non-partisan reporters and people who will give the truth.
BILL CLINTON LOOSES THE ELECTION FOR HILLARY! There was a song that the Beatles did that was titled "I'm a looser" and it was a prophesy for Bill Clinton's support of Hilary's campaign. The lyrics where the following: I'm a loser I'm a loser And I'm not what I appear to be Although I laugh and I act like a clown Beneath this mask I am wearing a frown My tears are falling like rain from the sky It is for her or myself that I cry I'm a loser Prophesy or accident? What's your thoughts.
It depends on how define a great President. Would John Edwards make a better President than Bill Clinton. Think about it. Do you define a great President by the number of women they have sex with. If so, I will grant you that Bill Clinton was a great President.
i guess the big guy in the skies needed tim russert and his good ol whiteboard. was one of the few journalists left that did his job right. rest in peace tim russert you will truly be missed
When I think of Tim Russet, I think of words like honor, integrity, and a deep love for his family and for his country and fellow Americans. Mere words are not enough to describe the loss of this great man during this historic election year. Tim, you are greatly loved and missed, my friend. I have no doubt that you were privy to the happenings these last few days. The double rainbow after your Memorial Wednesday in WDC, was a signal of hope. Rest in peace and may God bless and keep you, Tim!
He wrote on that board so republicans could understand what was going on. Kinda proves my point because I dont see any of them bashing them on this video!
Tim, you would have been so proud of your son Luke on the Today show Monday morning. Such great poise for a young man who just lost his beloved father.
You obviously didn't watch his show too much. That was not all he did. He just didn't give anyone a free ride, like Chris Matthews who gushed and drooled over GW Bush like a little girl. We don't need more "journalists" who sold us all a war that will never end. They let us down the most. All the big shots came on his show for one reason:credibility.
We will miss U and your dry erase board Mr. Tim-I am so touched I shed a tear although I didn't know you're like the "White Uncle" I never had as you brought political wisdom to the screen. One Love in 'Politico Heaven' MSBNC loves ya!
The presidential campaign and politics in general will not be the same without Tim.
We should all bear witness to the outpouring of all the positive thoughts and expressions of profound loss from his friends and colleagues. It says a lot about a person and how they lead their life.
God bless his family at this most difficult time.
I will never forget Tim Russert and his white boards describing Hillary Clinton coming up short in the campaign.
man me and my girlfriend are goin to miss him alot i grew up to this guy! i miss him and his whiteboard and when he did his FLORIDA,FLORIDA,FLORIDA THING he did on his whiteboard! R.I.P! we luv u tim!
Man, this tradgedy can be turned into a thing of Satan letting bill-O get stronger
as a christian im disgusted.
Jesus isnt concerned with sunday media, which Mr. Russert would agree with me. He is more concerned with the people that are alive getting people to klnow christ
"Why couldn't it have been Bill O'Reilly," a quote I said to myself when I heard about Tim Russert's passing.
This just shows you we're in the ages where Satan rules this world. It seems that the good and honest die suddenly while the waste of the world becomes stronger. In any case, Russert was one of the few in the media who gave it straight and unbiased. May god bless Russert's soul and may he receive his harvest in the presence of the Lord forevermore for his service here! RIP Tim Russert.
Turns out Tim's race is over. It's sad that his father out-lived him. What I don't understand is what factors led him to die so early, when his father and his son both live. Was his job and his approach to it that truely stressful on the heart, clogging the arteries? I don't get it.
His passion and enthusiasm for politics was unparalleled. He's up in heaven now talking to Richard Nixon about Watergate and John F. Kennedy about if he was worried that his personal life would have ever leaked. RIP Tim
Mr. Tim Russert was the one journalist of "the mainstream media" that I trusted in to tell me the truth concerning the political news of day. I respected his opinions and admired his good nature and the kindness and respect he showed others. He was honest and fair. Mr. Russert, you left us much to soon and you will be missed very much. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. God's Speed.
I will never forget him at 4am EST in November of 2000. The Gore/Bush Election. When Gore conceded prematurely. Tim was great! He was balanced. He was fair.
did he upset someone and they had him killed

Yes, Russert was smart. Yes, he was fair. Yes, he brought insight, intellect and common sense to both his audience, and the people in the hot seat.
What this video reminded me of though, with his math on the whiteboard, was "Florida, Florida, Florida", in 2000.
Tim Russert didn't need a six-figure, LCD, touchscreen computer machine to show how the system works.
He is missed by many. I have a feeling he kind of knew how this election turned out.
