  • According to the dictionary..a sport is an athletic activity requiring skill...it is also of a competitive nature. How is trampolining not that?

  • this is totally a sport and is not easy!

  • could anyone else hear the james bond theme tune at around 1:02 ?

  • this is almost as good as it gets, and im surprised at that. It honestly doesn't look to me like a lifetime of trampolining :S especially considering the height he got, making it easier to execute a trick in time.

  • I'm watching this and first I'm like "this isn't really impressive, I could do the same thing easily (I'm a beginner trampolinist)." Then it hits te second half of the video and I'm like "Holy S***!!!"

  • love the piked lazy back cody at the beginning! soooo floaty! love it :D ♥

  • cant u zoom in on them?

  • Ahhh! i was there watching this like last year!

  • i'm not going to lie, i could do the first half of his first routine.

  • yea me 2 and im not even in this

  • @Paintballer716 so could i, but thats not nearly as hard as the last half

  • @Paintballer716 yeah right, i bet yo culd not even do the first trick!

  • id like to see anybody who says trampolining shouldnt be an olympic sport get up their and do what he just did with the same form and same height and difficulty and i bet you and amount of money that you could NOT do that in a million years! so screw you and get a life!

  • @trampoline16 Sorry it's not a sport. If someone else judges you, it's not a sport. The athlete must determine their own outcome (ex. soccer, football, baseball, etc...) Not to say that this isn't incredible, I certainly couldn't do it. BTW this is what else is not a sport....(hunting, fishing ,gymnastic's, cheer-leading, etc....)

  • @dollygrip52 you can say that gymnastics isn't a sport- sure, it's not what we're used to. But really, it truly is. Gymnasts still put in the same number of hours as a soccer player, or baseballer. usually more. They push themselves as hard as anyone else. They still have a coach too. They have Olympics, media and the full deal. So, just because the winner is determined in a different way does not mean it isn't a sport. Sport is a diverse term, and gymnasts and trampolinists are still athletes.

  • @dollygrip52 fuck you because gymnastics and trampolining takes more courage determination than any other of those sports you just said. Why come to a trampoline video and comment that its no a sport? have a nice day you bastard.

  • no one fell :(((

  • lol i agree :(

  • heck ive been jumping for 8 years. hes really good. and if tramp. should not be in the olipics then why is ping pong. heck i could do good at that sport. its stupied if you say this is not a sport you oviesly have not got to jump 30 feet in the air and flip. have you .

  • how do they not get dizzy

  • They keep their head focused on the same place for as long as possible.

  • Well I got third in this olympic trials, and seeing as how I've never heard of you, don't try to act like your opinion means anything. He did well at the Olympics, the competition level was just ridiculously high.

  • Yeah, you tell him Neil!

  • you sound very immature, trying to showcase your 'portfolio' desperately to gain some credibility. but no one believes you because you is qualifying for THE OLYMPICS and you 'have done trampoline competitively). that's why i don't think your opinion is very justified as long as you are talking about a level WAAAY beyond your own...

  • This is towards lodschmod

  • His routine certainly isn't as clean as general olympic routines but some of the tricks he does are ridiculous. I think I saw a quadruple twisting double back and he started the second routine with a triple pike front half twist out which certainly isn't easy.

People saying he isn't straight - it's because he's piking to speed up the rotation.

Trampolining is one of the hardest sports in the world to do well. It takes a huge amount of practice to do well.

  • i've been jumping since i was 6 and been to loads of competistions and won medals

  • hey all you stupid fucks, thats just his obligatoric serie. my friend knows the guy who places 2nd in the olympics and this is no easy sport, ive been jumping scense i was 9. btw, obligatioric serie means he has to do as clean and beautiful jumps as possible. i assure you, that is no hard jumps

  • kool. but shouldnt be in the olympics

  • why is this a sport?? i should get my slinky out and roll it down the stairs for points!! London 2012 baby!!!

  • ahahahaha

  • hahah juss get about 10 countries to participate lolol... this like handball...wdf?!

  • This is the lamest sport I've ever seen.

  • Probaply coz you can't do it yourself ;)

  • Let me think...nope. It's just a lame sport. Jumping on a trampoline is a summer activity. Not an olympic sport. Sorry.

  • well, you have to admit, jumping twisting and flipping on a trampoline with a clean form is harder than it looks and most summer activities on tramps don't practice form, only tricks that look "cool"

well, just consider that these athletes work for years to be able to accomplish what they have, so try not to belittle their sport.

(But yea, he wasn't that good compared to the others)

  • Yeeeeeeeeah....when I see a video of you posted doing this stuff, that opinion will have a little more bearing. I trained on a competitive trampoline team for almost 5 years and was still learning half those tricks. It's hard as all hell, not to mention scary with the height and having to learn the body control so you don't go flying off and break something. No one will ever understand that until they try it. Go figure.

  • You also have to worry about body form, kicking out properly and keeping your arms at your side, all the while staying inside a small box painted on the trampoline so you don't get deductions, and killing your tremendous bounce immediately after your routine. But no one ever thinks about that; it's just a bouncy thing for kids to play on. You're totally right. And the balance beam is just a glorified log.

  • sick

  • Rediculous, Logan Duley should have been the one to go to Bejing. Dimitri screwed him over.

  • cool

  • the first one and the last one were the same weren't they.....?

  • That takes so much hard work! I can't even imagine.

  • wow that would be awesome
