all of that is taken into account. the presence or lack of stage presence is included in your ability 2 solo. for instance, my technique is staight nice but i have no presence which would make others see me as an inferior drummer even though my technique is sick (and it is if you've seen my vids). point is, you can have all the skills but if you only move butt's on the dance floor(groove) and don't entertain the crowd, you're only doing half of the job.
