SOME of the troops at Abu Graib were terrorists... Hardly the majority - but there are some bad apples - most of them are at the top. It's stupid to say all the troops are heros and it's stupid to say all the troops are terrorists. There are good guys and bad guys on every side.

There is no definition for 'terrorist'. Terrorism is a war TACTIC, not a person or group. An organized military can use terrorism more easily and to greater effect. Rosie never called our troops 'terrorists'. Our troops do what they're told. This video gives me a headache. They BOTH are so annoying! Why can't ABC pick some women who are well spoken, thoughtful and don't have to scream and shout to make their points? Instead they have to pick people that can be easily stereotyped with explosive dialogue to get ratings to make money. And Joy is right to reiterate what Gore sad, more people would rather be escapists by watching TV candy than finding out what is going on in the real world.

For the last 16 years (Gulf War 1 thru today), we have dropped bombs with depleted uranium on them (causing their cancer & birth defect rates to skyrocket), imposed sanctions (which decimated their health care & educational systems, no medicines, no food), destroyed their infrastructure (electricity, water, sewage, sanitation, roads, homes, buildings, agriculture).

The word "terrorist" is a tool of propaganda. Bush uses it to get people to react emotionally and not THINK—Eliz is great proof of that. Rosie's point was to try to see things from others' points of view--like the people who hate us. To the Iraqis, who never ever did a thing to us (they weren't any part of 9/11), maybe we're the terrorists?
