我认为如果多给我们多一点时间 让我们能够联系一些英国民众参与进来 那么效果会很好 但是我们那次游行从头到尾都是一群英语讲的很糟糕的学生在那里狂­吼 这样只会给人一种中国人不文明开化的感觉 藏独的人虽然在有些地方没有道理 但是他们跟当地人的沟通做的很好 他们游行都会有当地人加入进来 我们只会排外 即使我们实际上才是外国人

不过我想这也可能是因为我们在国内没有集会游行的自由造成的，搞­的我们根本不会游行，当时知道要集会游行已经是出发前一天了 急急忙忙的做国旗 很难知道到底有没有大使馆的人暗中帮助 但是我觉得游行中有一部分人是很清楚目的的 而我们普通学生只不过拿来充数而已 真像演戏！

I expect the chinese to take this opportunity to prove the rest of the world wrong. To show that china is improving in terms of human rights and the way of life. The eyes of the world will be on china for a good few weeks, so this is the time to show that chinese public from all classes can lead a good and fair life. The chinese government has human rights problems and the parade looks as if you are using the olympics to shield these problems. So the parade was mixing politics with the olympics? There lies the problem. That is why, as a chinese, i didn't join the parade. If it was solely to support the olympics to be held in Beijing...then I would join, but it sounds to me that China is using the olympics as a platform to promote the ideals of the country. This is why there are protestors.
