When you compare McCain's Econimic plan to Obama's plan, you'd be able to afford a lot of more things than what you can afford to buy right now like a house or food. There's a lot of people who can't afford a home which is why a lot of those people have to qualify for a section 8 house while having to live off of food stamps.

I think that if Paulson had not acted and the new bailout for banks not taken place we would be standing at the edge looking down into the abyss come Monday. As it stands now with the financial backing the banks have a chance to recapitalize. Housing needs to bottom out and start to rebound, then things will start to get better. We are probably near that point.
