hey mate nice fish, i went on my first rock fishing trip a few weeks ago and caught a 13kg blue groper. and by the way why do you use spin gear? overhead reels are much more suited to the task at hand.
They aint endangered mate, anybody who dives on the NSW coast knows this. Along with this they are legal to take on line, your arent allowed to spear them, but if you catch them on a rod they are fair game.

Man actually it is a really mad catch, Blue Gouper is almost a history in Ausrialia and there is a mate said he havnt seen any Blue Groper in Bondi since late 60s. We have real luck that day. of couse, catch and realese. there are no point to killing a fish like that old (at least 8 years) just for 1 meal.
there saying if we cut this up we can send some back to korea dont forget gook if you keep small fish you are only recking fishing for everyone.
