wouldn't happen. Tyler is WAY to devoted to his solo project and Mat Kearney. He'd form a band with Wild Sweet Orange's lead singer before Ben I think.
Never say never though. Brian McSweeney formed a new band called Matthew in 1999, released one album 2 years later, and then broke up. Six years later Brian and 3 members from the 1997 lineup of Seven Day Jesus performed a reunion show together. The Crucified got back together to do shows this year nearly 15 years after their first break up.
There are a few exceptions. Three of the 4original members of Earthsuit went on to form Mute Math, 2 former members of Subseven are in another band together, and Jeff Bellew and Mark Solomon of The Crucified also played in Stavesacre together. Plus, some bands from the 80's have been reuniting in recent years, like Whitecross, Bloodgood, and now Sacred Warrior.
True. Earthsuit was different though. That was them breaking up to get 100% out of the Christian market. Now, Mute Math's members aren't even Christian. (According to what Meany said in a recent interview)
Do you have the link to the interview? When Mute Math released their self titled LP, Paul Meany said that he wanted the band to get noteriety in the mainstream, then he'd consider the album being sold in the Christian market. I don't recall him ever saying that the members themselves weren't Christians.
I'd like to see Tyler and Ben form a new band together. Not necessarily Audio A. revamped, but have that influence in their music.
