I actually liked this game and its premise - travel through Hell itself, killing hundreds of demons - climaxed by a showdown with Lucifer himself.

god of war is one of my most favorite game series. so if they are making more games like it, i am happy. anyone who is a fan of god of war's gameplay should just play the games similar to it and enjoy it just as much instead of complaining about it.

Apparently, if you don't kill the Grim Reaper, like when he's saying "Help me!" and stuff like that, if you spare him, he comes back to help you later. I don't know, I haven't tried it, but that's what my boyfriend told me the 1st time he played all the way through this game.

What I find interesting is that before Death dies he says "Help Me!", and since he obviously isn't asking Dante for help, it makes me wonder who else might be around. Since Death can't not exist without causing all living things to become immortal, which would create problems, I wonder if there is more than one Death, or maybe because Death ushers souls to Heaven, as well as Hell, he was calling out to God to protect the cycle of life and death or something. Just interesting to think about imo.

The gameplay is similar to GOW, and the holy cross that Dante is carrying is similar to the cross that Gabriel Belmont uses in Castlevania Lords of Shadows. BUT HEY, I LOVE THIS GAME. GREAT STORY+ CHALLENGING ENEMIES+EPIC BOSSES+DEVASTATING FIGHTING COMBOS= ABSOLUTE EPICNESS. this game is a must-have for a console.

@OwenBarker1 I don't know if it does or not, since I have just started watching it, but I do know that there are some videos by Rooster Teeth that show you where it is all located. Search for whichever ring of Hell you need the items (ie. Lust Item guide) And look for Rooster Teeth's Videoes.
