  • fantástico, obrigado

  • First of all I would like to say that your paintings looks amazing!

Secondly I would like to ask; Because I doesen't got any erlier experience in painting with oils.

Is it hard to start painting with oils without ever been doing it earlier, and/or what should I think about when painting; techniques, colors. etc, etc.. Also, when i buy Oils. Should I go for something a bit more expensive, or should I go for something cheaper?

    Thanks!

    - Joakim

  • @EckeVonDinho If you look on our channel page you will find a 6 part series teaching you the basics of oil painting. For more advanced lesson you can visit our website. :-)

  • Hey just want to ask what is the 1st and 2nd color used to paint the tree

  • I like the families and thank you for this method.

  • your family story really brought out my ADHD!!! Thanks! :D i loved it

  • LOL! I loved the part when you said, " Here is a mom and dad and they haven't got any TV so they have lots of little baby bushes..." Awesome.... AND the story REALLLY helped me! Thanks for posting! :)

  • Love seeing SA's on Youtube, we have just as many talented artists and tutors right here in South Africa. .. Great tutorial !

  • Whats the differnet between acrylics and watercolour?

  • @YuukiKuranPrincess there is quite a big difference especially when it comes to the techniques used. Acrylics are a lot thicker whereas watercolours are used very thin. Best way to get an idea is to watch a few of our watercolour demos and you'll quickly spot the difference. As far as creating your bushes are concerned you will still use the families concept

  • @YuukiKuranPrincess

Acrylics are like oils but waterbased (thinned with water). That means you can make very very thick layer of them (relief-like structure). Watercolours are just "coloured water" ;) You can also make glaze with acrylics and with watercolours you cannot. Best regards, Greg

  • your teaching is so easy to learn, thank you.

  • @craz2311 glad you enjoyed the tutorial

  • I know this is a noob-ish question but what is the difference between oil paint and acrylic paint?

  • @TheNikkiSaurous there is no such thing as a noob Q, only a noob answer ;-) Oil paints have an oil base and acrylics have a waterbased acrylic base, then they have pigment added to give it it's colour. I have a live equipment class on our website this week which will explain it in more detail if you want to attend
