Having many years with Yamaha, I have to say I have never played one like yours. What year did they produce these?

I'm not an expert about Yamaha guitars, but I know this one was a re-edition no longe produced. I believe sometimes appears some used ones on ebay relatively cheap. And I read some users reviews at Harmony Central about this model sgv 800. It's very versatile with an interesting tremolo system and Sperzel locking tuners.

There is another song I play on a different vein with this guitar Je T'attends.

@KermTN Hi kerm these were made around the year 2000, they made the sgv 300 (somewhat stratlike) and the sgv 800 (this one, more mosrite like)

there are als some japan exclusive guitars but they are really hard to get.

They were made after their sixties models sg-5a and sg-7a.

I own two of their vintage models and a sgv800 all are great guitars.

And if you like bass they also made the sbv500 and sbv550

This was my first video I made around two years ago. Probably here I used a Yamaha Magicstomp loaded with EFTP patches.
