I think this is probably ITV's best effort to date. They shouldn't try and compete with the BBC's highbrow 'local culture' approach as they'll always come off second best. A brightly-coloured, fast-tempo sequence with a fairly decent pop song is just more their image.

@kisbie ITV Sport would be more appealing and enjoyable to watch if it didn't try and sell it'self as a lads-mag style production outfit . Apart from it's stellar Champions League coverage - ITV's efforts at producing top quality coverage are just embarrassing and irritating. BBC Sport might be superior in many ways but in no way is it good enough either. the BBC's general Football, Golf, Horse-Racing and Moto GP coverage could be far better. Maybe if they scrapped BBC3 and reinvested it?
