Too bad you can't get Kiko - it's one of my faves! McGriff is the best of all of the organ guys (Jimmy Smith, James Booker etc.) but if you want to hear something cool and different (not the regular B-3 sound) check out Summertime by Chris Columbo!
It's funny. On the "best of" record that I have, this song is also labeled as "Kiko". But it is clear, that this is "I've got a Woman". Strange shit !
Hi guys. I agree, this is definately "I've Got A Woman". I have the original record (first press) and I have noticed that the labeled the songs wrong. Common mistake, but if you know the tunes, you'll know.
I'm sorry to be so pedantic my friend, but this is NOT Kiko. I'm a (still) gigging organ player, and I've been playing Kiko for years - this tune is "I've Got a Woman" written by Ray Charles - regardless of what it says on the album cover! I'll bet you a Million Dollars... :)
if this is 'I've got a Woman', I want to know what the song entitles 'I've Got a Woman' is on the album....and why it's called 'Kiko' on the Jimmy McGriff albums I have. No big deal. I'm not really the type to argue over youtube, so it's all good either way.
The song called "I've Got A Woman" on the Greatest Hits album is also "I've Got A Woman"!!
Track 4 is incorrectly credited as "Kiko". Mistakes get made I guess :)
If you want to hear the real "Kiko", check out McGriff's 1963 album "At The Organ" where the track originally appears (Track 1 - although the link to that track is missing on Amazon...) It's also on "Toast To Jimmy McGriff" CD which is available at Amazon (Track 3). You can listen to a sample online. That is the real Kiko !
One of my favouites from 1963, so good

This is I Got A Woman no matter what McGriff titled it as Kiko. There are variations though in the interpretation.

This is not Kiko. This is some other rough shit here.
I like this here. It sounds like a different version of "I've Got a Woman".

This is not "Kiko", but "I've Got A Woman", from the same album. Still a great tune though!
