  • My friend had a cyst like this one, it popped (accidentally). It was on her thumb (of all places, on the soft part it). The reason I'm agreeing w/ surgical removal~~* the membrane surrounding the cyst has to be removed, or it will come back. My friend ended up getting surgery because hers gave her blood poisoning. Best of luck in the future. I also had 2 x 3 cm. lipoma (fatty tumor) removed from my scalp, there were 20 little "cousins" surrounding it the size of beans :( at least it's gone:)

  • My doctor told me to do that, but mine came back and I had to get it removed.

  • hell yea! i did the same thing. it doesnt even hurt, i thought for sure it would. it just vanished. lol just like that!

  • hehehehheehhehe magic trick it dissapeared XD

  • Really? Doctors tell people to hit these with a book?

I have a ganglion cyst, my brother has them and my sister got hers by a process very similar to the way your getting rid of yours.

I don't know if the doctors explain to people what causes these cysts. But, I''ll be damned if I'd self treat mine in a way that, in theory, could make it worse and/or cause more.

  • @Honestinwilkesbarre This definately works very well. My uncle had a ganglion, and was told the same thing, and it worked beautifully, he's never suffered from it again.
