Thumbs up if you laughed your @ss off that over a debate between someone saying "did" or "get" the top comment was made by a dipsh*t who doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're".
"I get it " is his realisation of his impending death . The motif of a shining light pervades a lot of season 6 , notably the sequences in his near-death experience , (beacon in the cityscape) .In that scene, he finds out that the 'inn at the oaks' (a manifsetation of the afterlife) is close to that beacon - therefore symbol of death. By Season 6B as Tony begins to morally crumble , the shining light shines upon him one final time - his time is up , he shudve learnt from his coma experience.
@TokyoKnights3 he doesn't have any remorse about Chris' death. Chris was a piano hanging over his head waiting to either kill Tony (he feared) or put him in jail for rest of his life (if Chris turns rat).
There is nothing up for discussion here. It is clear he says 'I get it', audibly so, plus in the context it makes far more sense. It is 'I get it' in the subtitles and in the script. End of story, end of discussion.
Early in the six season, while in the hospital, Tony had some interesting conversations with that scientist who told him about tornados and the ilusion of reality, that everything is connected and we are a part of something much bigger..
In the desert (a very introspective place) and with the help off some good old acid, Tony has a glimpse/flash of that understanding of the Universe.
In fact, he later can't even explain to his friends what he felt (in the butcher shop).
@Manolobartolo It was peyote, and did you notice that the sun flashed just like the beacon in his coma dreams, he connected the two and understood the meaning of his own life, or of life in general
@Manolobartolo Your response is right on! The fact that he is on peyote, or killed Christopher are irrelevant. He gets the meaning of life. He is overwhelmed with beauty (the girl, the desert, the sunset) peace, and emotion. He cannot even put it into words later. Or he doesn't want to appear soft to his crew.
@kanguesso The meaning of life. (at least to him) He talks about it with Melfi in the next episode. Where talks about our mothers being "the bus" and after they "drop us off and go on their own journey" we "keep trying to get back on the bus"
@Dilly5 but also the peyote like when one tries a really powerful drug, opened his eyes to a new philsophy as well as he finally understand the escape from reality christopher often had when doing drugs
I do too i think, when Tony was in his coma there was always a light flashing in the background outside his hotel window in the "mistaken identity" episodes, in the very begining of this clip it looked like the sun was flashing too.... wierd
I don't get it...

When I first saw this, I though he said " I did it!" like he acknowledged he killed Christopher... which is why he sorta sobs.
