  • Masami and Kinwald were so good, you could hand them the buggies, radios, batteries they ran in this race and they'd still beat 99% of us on the track today.

  • Is that brian kinwald ??I remeber when he was starting out as a little kid in RC car action magizine

  • @TheDman216 he probably was an adult or very close to it when you saw him first in RCCA - he's a REALLY small guy and looked about 14 in his 30s.

    awesome video, btw.

  • wow

  • I've been racing close to 10 years and I still don't know shit compared to these guys. True legends going toe to toe. Awesome race and great video. I love seeing where my passion comes from from all those years ago.

  • which one is Masami?

  • Awesome! Nice to see Masami driving that way. These days he ain't so polite if you're in front. ;¬)

  • i have this race on VHS!!!!!!! lol

  • @42781 smoke tgese guys? i tgink you need to go to rehab you fuckin faggot!! obviously you have no idea nor any concept of rc racing those 2 drivers only hold around a 100 national titles!! and prolly 30 world titles!! you woul not even come xlose to a f main at a national level!! it would be an honor to get my ass handed to me by the master masami hirosaka and brian kinwald!! or even be on the same driver stand with tho

  • Masami= yellow jacket, pink hat. Classic. THANKS!

  • hhhhmmmm..... This looks like MnM Hobbies of Corona, CA. I race there in the early 90's Easily the best indoor off-road track I've raced still to this very day. In fact I'm running 2wd mod "brushless" of course this weekend. They look just as fast back then as they are now.

  • Wow, the last lap an a half was intense!

  • i built a car from lexan and 1980's losi parts and won an onroad season against $1800 on road 4wd car. whats your claim to fame? picking your nose and not eating it?

  • i think sz42781 should stop sniffing glue and go play bingo with his mommy.

  • @CLANKILLER007 give me a dremel an some pieces of scrap. Ill build a car that I can hand you your ass with.

  • kinwald is a cool guy he drives at my track

he got sick for a wile and is just geting back into it

  • @misfitemo I remember kimwald when I was growing up! He needs to hit the gym. Does he smoke?

  • Wow so if this is 95, the losi must have been just beyond the pro se, maybe even beyond the prototype which would become the xx, so a XX right?

  • the double x was before this

  • @sz42781 how about you stop harassing everyone....your probly a shit rc driver anyway so stop acting tough....fucking keyboard warrior.....

  • That was awesome!!!!

  • you guys were all members of LLL werent you?

  • @mseigle buncha Tri Lams'

  • Your an idiot. You couldn't touch either one of those freaks if you raced everyday for 10 years with an unlimited budget.

2 of the best electric drivers to have ever held a transmitter

  • @sz42781 If you think the hobby is too expensive and frustrating just go buy urself a toy RC, you won't have any issues with a car from toys r us. lol

  • Shit, If Tyco was in direct competition with these other companies it would be back to the drawing board for everyone and the only reason to buy extra parts would be for preformance. Look I like dicking around with my RC like anyone. My point really is "the driving is the easy part". My little cousin is a whiz at Xbox like most 6th graders, he doesent like RC but if you gave him a RTR car with all the hop ups and a little practice he would blow these guys away.

  • @sz42781 stop sniffing glue and go play bingo with your mommie. you were never nor will you ever be as good as the master and the dirtinator.

  • they drive at the limit.

  • magic

  • Those were the days, in my mind RC racing died a little bit when brushless motors became dominant.

  • I agree that those were indeed the days - however brushless is only coming in just now - I think you have your time frames mixed up a bit! :)

How tidy and professional was Kinwald - he was the quicker driver, on several occasions he could have "forced" a pass - but drove VERY fairly. If only that kind of courtesy could be shown at club meetings!!

  • Isint the Idea to pass him?

  • this brings back awsome memories :)

  • they are in a class by themselves

  • thank you for this!! great!

  • You're welcome ! :D
