Just who the heck is Salome? Judging by what you said in your description, she must be a real person.

She was a figure in the bible. The Daughter of Herodias who danced the dance of the seven veils, and whose foolishness lead to the death of John the Baptist. An classic iconic figure of dangerous female seductiveness from Christian mythology. Oscar Wilde wrote a play about her and Richard Strauss wrote an opera based on that play.
