I noticed a lot of vids with this- and I tried it in an online match on my knife-only account hiding in em. the dude was somehow able to like.. shoot the roots or something and the plant went away and I wasn't able to run away fast enough... shoulda just used a throwing knife..

i think that was made that way for balancing issues... think about it... a sniper could sit there all the time if he wanted but because of the leaves he can only watch a small portion of the map... so that way ppl can go around and get the sniper before he gets samrt and gets out...

This is not a bug.. IW made this game so bullets dont go through banana leaves. If u go to any banana plant plot in the game u cant shoot through them

Yeh I thought I seen this too. There are a few places on maps where things like this happen

Theres a section of the map in derail that has something similar. You can look over a section of the wall, your aim be right on someone yet the bullets cant pass through a huge clear part of the area.
