omg u had to sprint to keep up with his stride! (almost) he is a nice lookin stud, for a sec i thought this was for shires about 2 yrs old, then i saw a small black shire that looked like a weanling, then i saw a blonde horse and im like the belgian, unless the owner is color blind, then i found out it was all ages and all breeds....but very nice class!!
Thank you! Yes, Pal was 2 years old here, but it was a 2 years and under all breeds class at the Tulsa State Fair. Pal just loves to be shown, he's push-button perfect in the ring!
Draft horses have a different (closer) "set" to their hocks than light horses. So, that is the way they are supposed to stand, with their hocks touching (and all the way down from there.) As far as how to get them to set up properly, it just takes a little training. Hope this helps you!
They are all so gorgeous! Do you ride them or just show them in halter?

Thank you!
And to the German poster-- No, Paladin's first halter class was at 4 months of age. He's shown in in halter his whole life.
