  • Like the speeded up Little By Little. More like the live version.

  • 1:07:00 ;)

  • 1:07 name this song? i need! please

  • @zozol000vp Everything in it's Right Place, though I think you might've gotten the time wrong, since you're referencing a song as it's a minute in.

  • @itsachickenwiththing 1:07:00

  • @zozol000vp Give Up the Ghost

  • Hey now, changing keys of songs is cheating!

  • @jonbashjonbash I didn't intentionally change keys anywhere. If anything sounds off, it's because I used audio files for the songs that were procured through less that legal means, and the download method or the original uploaders could have, themselves, altered the song's key. If so, I was not aware at the time I made this.

  • What song starts at about 40 minutes in?? Love it!

  • @seanparrent The Butcher

  • I like this. The two albums fit surprisingly well together.

  • wow... Now I have to combine every Radiohead album with every other Radiohead album. LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!!

  • Thank you for supporting me with this awesome compilation of

trance-inducing music during my long and painful studying sessions.

  • @l8l8l No problem at all, glad to hear you're enjoying it.

  • Greaat Job... Congrats!

  • 0:01 happiness begins ...

  • @mindnumber9 :D

  • The Bloom - Kid A transition sounds amazing...

  • well man, to me sounds like one entire album and a pretty nice one btw :)

  • @deepinmyass1 Thank you! :)

  • crash band wollop smell the roses

  • @itsachickenwiththing this is a really good mix but Lotus Flower sounds sped up. Like it was a 45 rpm record being played at like 47 (if thats possible) because it sounds like its in a slightly higher key. But other than that its really good especially the transition from In Limbo to Codex :)

  • @DannyGomez666 I don't recall actively changing the tempo. If anything I think it was the version of the song I used, I was using a file from a leaked version of the album, so just by the questionable nature of the downloading process it might have gotten sped up ever so slightly. I've definitely noticed that the version on my iPod sounds a bit faster than some of the other versions I've come across on the net, but I might be imagining it.

  • @itsachickenwiththing ya ok that makes sense. i just notice that alot though because one of my local radio stations does it all the time and its weird. But even so this mix is really good

  • @DannyGomez666 Like I said, I actually considered doing some weird stuff like that, I just couldn't figure out how to do it authentically after five minutes and the fading alternative worked good enough.

  • @itsachickenwiththing ya it came out. real good. i think it would be cool to see like a hail to the rainbows or something like that if you could

  • @itsachickenwiththing Great minds think alike and yes you have remixed it COOL !!!!!!!!!!! Radiohead forever and forever

  • @muckandfun Wouldn't exactly call it remixing, colloquially speaking.

  • Thought MPS to Supercollider was great. Overall this was really cool, I enjoyed it.

  • @hardlyanalog Good to hear!

  • sorry. and yes it is a little mean to just say that you are all insane. but i mean dude. its the internet. who cares. have your fun. you can definitely upgrade to 8 for cheap, or free via piracy. all you need is the hardware. and 9 runs on anything.

  • @37sikora I'll probably upgrade to 9 at some point, its just not really practical right now since I moved into a 16X9 dorm room. I got FL Studio 9, however, and I've been able to do some stuff with it. The two songs in my latest video were done through that program. It works for my needs until I can get a band together. One of the biggest hurdles of home recording was doing everything by myself, The songs I had written were so complex that they really needed a band rehearsal before recording.

  • Songs as they were and their placement on the albums. Kind of crazy to assume they are as OCD and just plain mad as they would have had to have been to make sure their different albums can be ordered within each other. It's one thing to play your work amidst past works to see if it holds it's own, but thinking anything more of whatever coincidence your mind seems to find is just wishful thinking.

  • @37sikora Well its still a little blatant to call people right out loonies y'know. Anyways, I initially bought the pro tools stuff to record my own stuff, bought it about three years ago during the summer but then junior year happened. Music really just took a back seat for school, and like I said I wanted to justify the purchase to myself, so that's how all 16 vids on my channel happened. And now the stuff it useless cause' my new computer runs Windows 7, which Pro Tools 7 doesn't work with.

  • @itsachickenwiththing by the way, you can get a fix for windows 7 for pro tools 7.4 m p ;) enjoy

  • @theworstexperience I tried it, but the problem is my music computer is running Windows 7 64-bit. On my 32-bit school laptop it runs perfectly, its just that the laptop doesn't have the processing power to run the program. With 64-bit however, I guess there's some problem with how the DAE loads and it just causes the program to crash every time I try to open it. I should've mentioned it but yeah. I've been using FL Studio 9 mostly now, and it's been working well for my needs.

  • @37sikora all you have to do is play the next song in the same key. then, if you have a consistent style of play they tend to line up pretty well together.

  • @MrRoklem cept' I didn't do any sound manipulation beyond fading... no key shifts or anything (if only because I don't exactly know how to do that stuff without failing epicly).

  • Man. All I'm saying is who cares. Not you, but some of the folks commenting here seem a little nuts. But dude, I would not suggest that this justifies money being spent on music recording software. Why waste your time NOT recording your own shit? I own protools too. frankly I don't think the transitions are that great. Of course spacey sound effects transition well. That's the point, but if you think and listen closely the effects used as transitions already were fit specifically to the

  • yea.. this is retarded. i gave it a chance. its all in your minds. waste of time to sit around and hypothesize that radiohead intended you to listen to their albums like this. for fun is one thing, but i think some of you are verging on schizophrenia...

  • @37sikora I mean, this all did start out as something to do for fun. AND you have to admit, some of the songs do blend in quite well with each other. Yeah it might be shitting all over the intended album structure (I know, there's a reason why Radiohead has so many b-sides, they actually make sure their albums are cohesive, I get it), but the stylistic similarities between the three albums can't be written off. TKOL is as big a departure from Rainbows as Kid A/Amnesiac was from OK Computer

  • i hate to rain of everyone's parade, but i think you are all completely insane and you are just telling yourselves that this makes sense. there was no relationship whatsoever between everything in its right place, or bloom, or kid a, or anything. radiohead knew exactly what the fuck they were doing with each album kid a, amnesiac, and yes even the new one (in my personal belief). the way they ordered the songs already was brilliant. mixing king of limbs in with kid a ruins each.

  • @37sikora Insane is a pretty harsh word... We're schizophrenic you say? Look, I understand there isn't shit in the way of evidence supporting that the two albums go together. Honestly I'm just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks to be honest. I personally didn't even have anything to do with the whole 01 to 10 playlist thing, like I said, these two vids I did were simply me working off the same thinking, more to justify the money I dropped on a Pro Tools setup than anything else.

  • Just curious, but why not "The Kid of the Amnesiac King" and just be done with it as all of the discs/tracks are in the same vain and it think it would work well (though probably not all of the songs would work in the exact same order). Just might work.

  • @jaycovia I actually have been thinking about that, as I've noticed a trend wherein it seems that the first half of Kid A goes very well with the first half of The King of Limbs, whereas the second half of Amnesiac goes well with the second half of TKOL. idk how to approach it yet though. What I would really like to do is just really take a look at the themes of the songs individually and then see which ones fit together narratively and build the album from there.

  • @jaycovia Also I can't decide whether I like the crossfade between Morning Mr. Magpie and The National Anthem or the one between Magpie and Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors.

  • Any chance of getting a download?

  • @SkyForSense As I'm too lazy to make a filesharing account, feel completely free to use youtube to mp3 on the vid. i might make a megaupload account eventually just for all the stuff on my channel. But at present, I have two papers I have to write for college.

    Cheers!

  • Yeah! Topped 8,888 views!

  • These Are My Twisted Words/Harry Patch could of been added.

  • @cquigley212 Not really, neither of those songs particularly fit the electronic style of Kid A or TKOL. Twisted Words is better suited to Hail to the Thief or the OK Computer era sound if anything, and Harry Patch is its own thing all together. As it is I only added The Butcher and Supercollider because, while originally it was an impulse idea, they just felt right, and they still fit really well with the sound aesthetic of TKOL.

  • Kid A > Morning Mr. Magpie and Feral > Treefingers are amazing transitions.

  • Gracias!

  • chills went up my spine in the transition between bloom and kid a. well played sir.

  • wooooooooooooooooow nice work maan!

  • fate, u took my brother from me way too early, but at least he and I got to share radiohead before he passed away.

  • @mEds312 I'm sorry to hear about that.

  • @mEds312 That's what it's all about.

  • omg kid a to good morning mr. magpie is fucking sick!

  • @BehindthePlay and it's wierd too how the both OK Computer and In Rainbows have a more rock orientated sound whereas both of their predecessors have the more experimental, electronic sound that started with Kid A. Really makes you think there might be more than meets the eye.

  • @itsachickenwiththing

I thought the exact same thing. After listening to some of this, it makes me think this is not just another coincidence. If it in fact is deliberate, Radiohead is clever, and once again an innovative band!

  • @alexavalladares Have you listened to the Amnesiac King yet by any chance? There's a point late into it were it becomes very hard to write the whole thing off as a coincidence.

  • funny. I was listening to Kid A while at work all the way through.. And i have King of limbs right after that.. I thought wow, these two albums really compliment each other I wonder if anyone thought of that thing they did with ok computer and in rainbows for these two albums.. and here it is lol.. sweet.

  • @Cestpasmarrant Once I get my computer fixed I might do that for a couple of my favorite albums, been wanting to do it for a while I can't even imagine Colors by BTBAM as a single track

  • I LOVE the transitions beetween the songs ! Personally I think every album should be made this way lol :P

  • I did something similar myself when The King Of Limbs came out, (but did nothing with it) as I thought both albums complimented each other rather well. You've made my day, as most people I put the theory to said I was wrong. Cheers and thank you!

  • @iashton thanks man!

  • @libelle156 idk I was just going by the logic of Kid A came after OK Computer and TKOL came after In Rainbows. now that you mention it though I might put something together once I fix my computer

  • The tracks on TKOL fit closer to Amnesiac. Plus that was 10 years ago. Not as a conspiracy though, just a cute playlist. Packt/Bloom Pyramid/Codex Pulk/Feral YAWA/GUTG...

  • @markitens really? i thought it sounded kind of abrupt and forced to me, at least compared to the first couple of songs. thanks for the thoughts though :)

  • Feral and In limbo!! Perfect.

  • Gracias!! es genial....

  • I think ultimately, more than anything, this proves the 01/10 playlist wrong. See kids, you can do it with anything!

  • @MRMATRONIC Well there is more to support the theories behind 01 to 10, but idk I was kinda hoping to see what other people could find out to support this, I'm just now graduating from high school so I haven't had time to do it myself.

However, I think this could be a trend, we have to see how Radiohead's next LP fits together with Hail to the Thief.

  • @itsachickenwiththing Or Amnesiac! I think to be honest, there was, or is a secret message or something that Radiohead were trying to get accross, but I don't think it was the secret playlist, because A) the songs don't really fit all that well... and B) if it was true, they would have comfirmed it themselves, an, as far as I know, there's been no confirmation. It's the same thing as people hearing 'hidden messages' in backwarsd songs. You only hear it cause you want to!

  • @MRMATRONIC nude backwards is nude!

  • @libelle156 I know right! It's wicked cool awesome!

  • I think this is epic

  • how long is the crossfade for these?

  • @JaffarDS it varies, I blended the tracks together in Pro Tools... technically it's not even a crossfade, I just did fades and aligned the different tracks just right

  • this is brilliant

  • @LongviewRocks now there's an idea

  • this feels pretty good 4 songs in. kid a into MMM, sick!

  • @Dk2601 thanks man, and I mentioned the "similar" theory in the describy but w/e...

  • @itsachickenwiththing ah yes..my bad..it was very late here and there was good friday smokes involved:)
