Actually there is a test where psychiatrists hypnotized normal people and asked what happed in determined time, determined date 20 or 30 years back and they could recall everything even the colors of unimportant details around the place.

So I do believe that this power is locked up inside our mind, I believe we all have eidetic memory and the only thing we need is learn how to use our subconscious mind. Maybe it's too dangerous that's why it's so hard.

My ability is that i can't feel the cold, yes it sucks because i've never been able to feel the cold, if you put an ice cube on my body i won't feel it but after about 20 seconds i get a slight stinging sensation so i take the icecube off, no feeling of tempurature there at all, i realy don't know what cold feels like i wish i did though.

Most likely not the evolution, although you posted this a long time ago I'll respond anyways. These people are pretty much either got some kind of head injury that caused their brain to function differently afterward, like this guy, or they are born with some kind of mental anomaly, a differently wired or something like that and nearly always causes severe mental disability and autism. These genetic "mistakes", however provide a way for us to understand much better how the brain can really work.
